Restaurante Parador de Cardona

Wonderful staff and service - the food was superb. Definitely have it on your list for a special meal. The potato soup was especially wonderful - but really each course was delicious.

Excellent meal in a spectacular medieval dining room with a vaulted ceiling. The restaurant is inside the Castle of Cardona and part of the Parador de Cardona, both historical places worth visiting - very beautiful! We had the Secreto Ibérico and Lomo a la brasa, both were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The wonderful warm and friendly service was an added bonus! Maravilloso!

The service staff were not prepared or anxious to help first time customers. Especially the head waiter who was more concerned with his own image of importance than the customers he was conducting to a table. There was an unnecessary long delay before anyone asked about initial drinks or food orders. It was as if we were invisable. Fortunately the quality of the food saved the day!

GOOD FOOD & STAFF, MAY BE A LITTLE BIT UNFASHIONED IN THE WAY TO DO.EVEN IN A HISTORICAL BUILDING IT IS POSSIBLE TO GIVE AN IMAGE OF MODERNITYIN ALL CASES, RECOMMENDED
