This is a bar, I think it is quite good, the Scotch whisky inside is very good, and the beer is also good, the Chinese wine is absolutely no problem in the UK, drink whisky and have some beer.

We enjoyed the 6 course Scottish tasting menu. A wonderful way to experience Scottish cuisine! Great food, great service!

It didn&#39;t look like much from outside, but the Cellar door deserved it position at the top of the restaurants list for Edinbugh.  Really friendly staff, top qulity food, and a great menu with some delectable options for the epicurean.

It was my partners birthday last night so I had booked The Cellar Door as a surprise. They were very accommodating as we showed up early and they still sat us. We chose the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing which was great value for money. The lovely server explained each wine and course in great detail with enthusiasm. I don&rsquo;t eat Venison so they swapped it for the smoked haddock risotto. The whole meal was very filling and tasty. My partner has mentioned he wished with the venison you were given slightly more as he had one potato cut in half but overall, everything was great.

Fabulous little restaurant, would highly recommend.  We chose the tasting menu which was very suitably adapted for my wife&#39;s gluten intolerance.  Service was excellent, ambience and atmosphere was great.  Will definitely go again when in Edinburgh

The most luxurious afternoon tea restaurant in Edinburgh. I ordered the set menu for three people, which had a lot of things. The British really know how to enjoy themselves. The cake was a little sweet and the English black tea tasted great.

1-The best is the environment, too beautiful, and the old building is used at the same time, very historical 2-The service staff is more gentleman 3-Four people ordered oysters (not the season for eating oysters in February, so although fresh, but thin), there is tea, wine, tea wine is so-so, it is not amazing in the UK. Staples ordered steak and Wellington sheep, each from &pound;110, cost-effective. A meal for the environment, but more suitable for couples, my husband and I, plus my parents, are not suitable for this dark environment, and talking to the opposite person needs to bypass the big candle. But eating in a century-old castle is still irreplaceable.

Every time I want to eat seafood, I will think of the oysters in this store.
Really, as an oyster lover, I have eaten at a seafood store on the list in the UK, and I have also eaten at the Oyster Festival. I remember that the oysters at the Oyster Festival cost 3 pounds each, but the experience is the most important~ ~When I was eating, I was thinking, hey, why are they not as plump as the one I ate in Edinburgh~ It may also be due to the season or geography, I guess.

However, I highly recommend their oysters and mussels~ Those who like to eat lobsters can also try it. The seafood is really plump and fresh, and the key is that the price is not expensive. Edinburgh residents and those who go to Edinburgh for fun, really recommend it~
But (there are also some different tastes). However, according to my taste, it is really delicious. When I went to play with friends, my friends also said it was delicious. When I took my family to Edinburgh for fun, my father was picky about food. Those days, I kept talking about taking him to eat oysters from this store, hahahaha. I went to the Highlands for a tour. It was cold. I have never felt such a strong wind and such a cold weather. After I came back, I ordered their seafood chowder and mussels. It was so refreshing. It was warm and delicious. I still remember it vividly.

In short, I hope that friends who go to Edinburgh will not miss it. It is worth a try. I share this good restaurant with everyone ~ double the happiness ~

I feel good, I ordered it directly. The dishes are well matched, the tastes are very good, and the service is very satisfactory. The salmon and meat of the fish course are very good. Guess the water bath first treated the fish and meat, and the dessert was prosaic in comparison. Will go again if I can book a good time slot on Saturday [cover mouth]
