King of Watermelon

It's a very nice fruit shop. The owner saw that we were tourists and specially cut mixed fruits for us. The fresh papaya was very good, and the watermelon was really sweet, much better than the watermelon in Shanghai.

This shop was recommended by the hotel guy. It is also on Zhongzheng Road. It has a small storefront. It is very close to the popular online shop Gongzheng Baozi Shop. There are many online shops around it. This shop sells fruits. They are cut and sold on the spot. Taiwanese fruits are really delicious. The prices in Hualien are very cheap. You can get a big plate of fruits for 50 Taipei dollars. One person can definitely eat a lot. The shop is actually small and old, but it is really delicious and affordable. I miss it very much when I think about it now.

One of the food highly recommended by the owner of Hualien B&B is Watermelon King Q. We came to drink it on the first day and ordered watermelon pineapple juice.
