The restaurant is by the river, with a big front. There are performances during dinner, but we felt it was a bit noisy. The dishes are not very friendly to those of us who cannot eat spicy food. The service is OK. The clear soup chicken I ordered only had a few small pieces of chicken, a few slices of tofu for 20 yuan, and a few vermicelli for 20 yuan. A little expensive.

This restaurant is not far from the No. 6 Wind and Rain Bridge. The owner is very welcoming and the environment inside the restaurant is clean and sanitary. The fish in the sour soup fish is fresh and tender, the soup base tastes delicious and goes well with rice, and the bamboo shoots are very crispy. I recommend the Miao bacon fried with bamboo shoots.

Miaoxiang Restaurant is located on the main street of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. It has a small frontage and unique decoration. It has three floors upstairs. The rice field fish has no earthy smell and not too many bones. The bamboo shoots fried with bacon are very delicious. The bamboo shoots are tender and the rice wine is very strong.
