Amazing fresh fish, delicious pasta and salad and super helpful and friendly waitstaff that helped us select a wonderful wine to eat with our amazing meal. Also very reasonable prices. It was overall exceptional.

This restaurant was beautiful, quiet and convenient. We loved the fish and the staff were wonderfully helpful. It was our favorite place to eat on the island of Ortigia - don&#39;t miss the desserts!

Excellent dinner for two! Delicious pasta: ravolini and paccheri with pesto; freshest swordfish in a red sauce; mixed salad. And to top it off, the best tiramisu! Nice ambiance with comfortable background jazz. Great welcoming and professional service. Highly recommend.

A small and out of the way jewel.  The food was wonderful  and very, very fresh.  We loved it.  Also, very friendly and relaxed service.  We felt at home.  Highly recommended.

We were a party of four and every one of has outstanding dishes! We all highly recommend!Please note a reservation is a must- even on a Monday night off season!

I was disappointed to learn that although I was a first time user of &quot;The Fork&quot;, I was NOT given the first time user discount!! The restaurant owner said that I was not entitled to it!!!

The fresh tuna was displayed  with encouragement to choose. Sadly it was over cooked, I like it pink. There is no wine list so it was &ldquo;you will have what you are given, red or white?&rdquo;Ambience is modern, a little clinical perhaps. Service was &ldquo;functional&rdquo;  and impersonal. We did not stay for a dessert.

On an island where the food can be very mediocre tourist fare, this restaurant is a remarkable exception. The food was innovative and unbelievably tasty. The view on the terrace overlooking the sea was magical. All the staff were friendly and attentive.  Also, very good margaritas.

Nostos was very comfortable.  The atmosphere was casual, but nice.  The staff was humble, gracious and very attentive.  The food was just what we were looking for.  It was delicious but unassuming.  I especially liked the Sicilian Salad.  It was the best salad I have had in Italy and I will be going back for another.

We had a really nice time at Macall&eacute; Sicilian. The food was delicious&mdash;every dish was flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with just the right mix of warmth and elegance, and the music contribute to it. Highly recommend giving this spot a try!
