An unusual experienceI chose to go there to have a lunch on the 31st of December. The restaurant was open and very quiet. There were just two or three other people. The North Korean waiter was very polite but did not have much English. The food was ok but as I&rsquo;m not familiar with the North Korean cuisine it&rsquo;s a little difficult to judge it. I certainly loved their dumplings. Overall, the food is a little expensive compare to most places in Vientiane. For about three dishes and a bottle of beer, we ended paying close to 900 baht (or about 30 dollars). They accepted Thai baht, which was great. Overall, it was an interacting experience.

Vientiane, the capital of Laos, is not quite what you imagine.
I must strongly recommend this restaurant, Kualao Restaurant.
It is really super delicious, especially the rice ball dessert, the coconut flavor is endless. The restaurant is very close to the Black Pagoda, so you can go there by the way.
During the day, visit the Arc de Triomphe, That Luang Temple, Simeon Temple, and the Emerald Buddha Temple.
You can buy a ticket to climb the Arc de Triomphe to see the capital~
And taking a taxi here is really a rip-off. The starting price for a taxi from the hotel is 50rmb... I even doubted whether I was in Southeast Asia.

The food in this restaurant is highly recommended by Ctrip Food Forest. We came to this restaurant specially because the environment here is really great. There are quite a lot of people dining here. The food in the restaurant tastes really great and is definitely worth recommending.

The environment of this hotel is very good, although not as big as the reputation of Kualao propaganda, but this store is definitely not worse than Kualao. This store is located on the side of the Arc de Triomphe to the tower, very easy to find. Very cost-effective. Authentic Lao cuisine, the store environment is elegant.
