Interesting place, within a historical building, it even features some archeological remains from the 1st century. Good food and friendly service

Ci siamo trovati talmente bene il giorno prima che siamo ritornati a gustare le loro pietanze locali, (ovviamente apprezzando nuovi piatti toscani) la sera dopo. Complimenti ancora a tutto lo staff.

We had such a good time the day before that we returned to taste their local dishes, (obviously appreciating new Tuscan dishes) the following evening. Compliments again to all the staff.

Tutto molto buono faccio i miei complimenti a tutto lo staff piatti ottimo e genuini abbiamo mangiato un antipasto acciughe allo zenzero ottime una reginetta con cinghiale molto gustosa, poi due secondi lo spiedone eccellente e una trippa di Volterra da favola, fatta con rag&ugrave; e salsiccia posso dire un abbinata favolosa molto buona, ripeto ingredienti primari a kilometro zero materie prime ottime e poi capacit&agrave; culinaria eccellente fanno un connubio eccezionale COMPLIMENTI.Se siete nei paraggi merita di andarci a mangiare

Everything very good I compliment all the staff excellent and genuine dishes we ate an appetizer anchovies with ginger excellent a reginetta with wild boar very tasty, then two main courses the excellent skewer and a fabulous Volterra tripe, made with rag&ugrave; and sausage I can say a fabulous combination very good, I repeat primary ingredients at zero kilometer excellent raw materials and then excellent culinary ability make an exceptional combination COMPLIMENTS.
If you are in the area it is worth going to eat there

Great food and service, but the restaurant does not have any outside seating areas or any good views out of the windows, which was a shame on a wonderful warm evening when we dined there. It is also not that big and a few tables are close to the toilets, and we got one of those.

We had an excellent lunch for 7. The service was excellent and staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding the wine and the menu. Highly recommended.

We made a reservation not really knowing what to expect.  The staff was very kind from beginning to end and gave really good explenation about the different choices on the menu. We had different plates of food and they all tasted really good! Real Italian food with a real nice athmosphere in the lovely town of Volterra!

Great view!! The staff were super friendly and attentive and a lot of fun. Loved my seafood pasta dish. We started with a drink called a Negroni which our bartender/server/host made two different ways with two different gins. They were both delicious and lasted the whole meal and gave us a lovely buzz. I&rsquo;d go back again for sure, for the food and just to see the staff again they were so nice.
