All I can say is, WOW!  The atmosphere is super cool in a basement with wonderful ambience.  I would recommend making reservations, as this place is popular & starts jumping early on (I&apos;ll be returning all the wiser with a rez tomorrow!)  The food & presentation is excellent - plentiful and flavourful at reasonable prices. The service impeccable, taking good care of this hungry diner!  I highly recommend this place for ambience, authentic local cuisine and friendly, professional service by the staff.

What an amazing place! The atmosphere, the staff, the food, THE FOOD!! I was only in Riga for 30hrs and had both evening meals here, the waiter recognised me on my second night and even remembered me order. I highly recommend the Malbec, chicken livers wrapped in bacon and the beef shank.

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The place was full when we arrived but they managed to find a table for us. The service was excellent, the staff extremely nice and the food delicious

Excellent experience

This is a really good spot to sample Latvian food and when I was there, music band were playing. The staff were helpful and the cost was not too bad.  Food was top. Good place

Good Lativan Tavern

This is a wonderful place. The ambiance is uniquely great, emulating a medieval tavern. The food is just magnificent. We tried the mushroom dumpling, the pork ribs, the beet salad and the stroganoff…. All great. The selection of beer is very good. The prices are affordable

The medieval-style hotel in the old city, underground, the facade is very inconspicuous, I don&#39;t know there is a hotel at all, there is a medieval-style old man at the door knocking on the instrument that I can&#39;t understand, just to attract attention, go in and see, there is no cave. The taste of the dish is generally the same, the wine is good, the bread is very special, wrapped in a cloth pocket, but a bit hard. The price is OK, the consumption is cheaper than Shanghai.

MUUSU Riga A restaurant in the old town. At the Riga restaurant, it is recommended to try their beer instead of wine, Latvia is not full of wine, beer tastes a lot. I am still the first time I have a variety of beer in a wine glass in such a restaurant. Latvia has a long history of brewing, with many breweries, and they produce wine that amazes many wine tastings, and they use local fruit brewing such as rhubarb, dandelion, birch and so on.
