Hometown Hainan Chinese restaurant is a traditional Chinese restaurant with Hainan cuisine food, especially some chicken rice,in the Cyberjaya.
The first meal after arriving in Kuala Lumpur was at the airport. It was a traditional Malay breakfast, selling coffee, toast and pastries. It felt similar to Ya Kun in Singapore. I ordered kaya toast, egg salad and tuna salad. The bread was toasted quite crispy and the kaya was sweet, which is a local specialty. The coffee and milk tea were a bit like Hong Kong style.
Because we were at the airport and wanted to find a place with decent food, the food here was really average. We went there because there were a lot of people. It was on the first floor of the airport, KLIA2, next to the supermarket. The pictures on the menu are quite different from the actual food, so when ordering, be careful not to refer to the pictures too much. It is more appropriate to understand by looking at the names. The sandwich we ordered was a mistake. The one in the picture looked crispy, but when it was served, it turned out to be a soft omelet. I basically didn't want to eat it. The taste was very different from what I imagined. Then the noodles were not very hot, it felt like they were cooked for a while before being served, and the fried rice was the same, and there were only two cucumber slices as a side dish. Overall, it was average.
It is very similar to the famous Malaysian brand Old Town White Coffee. Its main product is packaged 3-in-1 white coffee. It also has its own brand restaurant, serving local delicacies. This branch is located in the KLIA2 arrival area and is very busy.
