I have to check in every time I pass through Shaoguan. Eighty to ninety percent of the dishes and snacks are delicious. Bendao Zhoucheng is a very down-to-earth restaurant located on the second floor of the pedestrian street. The people who come to eat are all neighbors. A pot of tea, a few snacks, and chatting are cozy. Dim sum needs to be taken by yourself. You can take whatever you want. The taste is good and the price is affordable.

On the first day of the New Year, we passed by Shaoguan and stayed overnight. The next day, the whole family got up early and came to the most prosperous Bendao Zhoucheng for morning tea. But when we arrived, there were already a lot of people waiting in line. The teahouse has two floors, each of which is quite large, with many tables of different sizes. The decoration is relatively simple, with menus posted everywhere on the wall. The waiters carried tea and pushed carts to shuttle between the tables in the bustling crowd, which was quite neat. This is a typical feeling of the old Guang in the market, and the whole scene makes people feel friendly! Fortunately, we waited for nearly half an hour before it was our turn. After sitting down, we immediately ordered: quicksand buns, barbecued pork buns, shrimp dumplings, siu mai, rice rolls, beef noodles... We didn't say much and ordered a bunch of snacks. After tasting them one by one, I felt that they were all delicious, especially the quicksand buns, taro ribs, and dry fried beef noodles, all of which were ordered in double portions! The final bill was only about 120 yuan. The price of so many kinds of food for 4 people is really affordable. I have seen conscientious merchants!

They push carts with tea and shuttle between the tables in the bustling crowd. The whole scene gives people a feeling of being both marketable and peaceful in old Guangzhou! Fortunately, we only waited for nearly half an hour before it was our turn. After the family sat at the table, they quickly ordered: lava buns, barbecued pork buns, shrimp dumplings, siu mai, rice rolls, beef noodles... Just look at the appearance first, regardless of the taste! We ordered a bunch of snacks without saying a word. After tasting them one by one, they all felt delicious, especially the lava buns, taro ribs, and dry fried beef noodles. I was impressed, so I ordered double portions! After we finished eating, we paid the bill and found that the whole table of food only cost nearly 120 yuan, which was really a shocking price!

It was my first time in Shaoguan. I went to Bendao Zhoucheng today after seeing the recommendation. I can only give it an average review. But as a native Cantonese, these are commonplace meals for us, so my taste is a little picky, but it's generally good. Because I went there alone, I didn't order much, so I can't accurately describe the average per capita, but the price is really not expensive. It retains the pushcart style of the old Guangzhou teahouse and retains the original flavor. I think it can be added points. As for the taste, I am not very satisfied. I ordered three dishes: shrimp dumplings, chicken feet and beef tripe. The beef tripe was too tough and too long to chew. The steamed white radish was not soft. The shrimp dumplings were very fresh and the ingredients were sufficient, but the skin was too thick and felt like eating flour. If it weren't for the spirit of not wasting, I wouldn't swallow the shrimp dumpling skin. The chicken feet were what I was most satisfied with, so I won't comment on this. I found out from Dianping that Bendao Zhoucheng here is good, so I went there for an evening tea. The shop is very big, with two floors. There are 39 varieties of porridge alone, hundreds of dim sum and side dishes, and there are still traditional dim sum carts coming and going, while the previous ones have no carts. I ate eight dishes plus a pot of chrysanthemum tea, which cost only 82 yuan. The most expensive dim sum, the signature spring fish porridge, cost 10 yuan, and a portion of three lava buns was only 7 yuan. It tasted good and was very cheap!

It's easy to find. It's very popular when you go up. The business is very hot. Because there is no room on the second floor, we went to the third floor. The waiter's attitude is good. The shrimp dumplings and fried beef noodles are delicious, especially the shrimp dumplings are very fresh! The price is not too high, popular consumption, high cost performance, it is a good place to drink tea and chat!
