Garrison Guardhouse Bar and Restaurant

Lovely place. Atmosphere good. Very attentive server's. Very good choice and mix of meals. Our favourite is Sunday lunch. Lamb is always the choice for us when it's on the menu. Hot food and VERY generous portions of meat. Unable to have a dessert die to the amount of meat. This is always in our top 3 Sunday lunch venue's.

The restaurant was very welcoming from the first time we stepped in the premises. The bar staff were very polite and the manager took us to our table, no waiting at all. The menu catered for everyone’s needs and was fairly priced. We was looked after very well by our waiting staff which were there promptly. The meal was outstanding and we will definitely be back.

We came to try the food as we get married there next year! We wasn’t disappointed! Amazing!! The staff was so lovely ???? cannot wait to come back! Xx

Was really good food, lovely ambiance but check ahead if they have a function as the kitchen take a little time to prepare the food then. The maitre de was really apologetic and comped some drinks for us. All in all I will go back as we really enjoyed it.

No complaints about the food or the service. My husband had the beef brisket and the only thing we could complain about was the rather meagre portion of vegetables especially the potatoes. Barely a spoonful on the plate. Shame as the rest of us had a good plateful of food with excellent chips.
