Shanhainongzhuang (wenquanzhen)

Shanhai Farm (Wenquan Town Branch) is located diagonally opposite the China Petroleum Golden Leaf Gas Station on National Highway 105 in Conghua, Guangzhou. In one word, it is very popular. If you come too late, there will be no vegetables for sale, so you can only go to another store.

I went to Conghua Hot Spring Villa with my friends for vacation. Before arriving by car, we found a farmhouse restaurant as a gathering point at noon to have lunch before setting off. A friend of a friend introduced this farmhouse restaurant. You can see the big sign on the roadside. I ordered a firewood bamboo tube rice and a fat boy roast chicken. The bamboo tube rice needs to be prepared in advance, so you have to make an appointment in advance. There were not too many people when I arrived. The decoration was simple, but it was clean and tidy. There were many farmhouse dishes on the menu, and the prices were mostly around 30 yuan. The soup, carrot, corn and pork bone soup, was quite good and the children liked it more. The steamed mountain water tofu was relatively tender and smooth, and the light taste was good. The perilla steamed mountain pit fish was a dish that was more suitable for beer, and it was quite fragrant. The fat boy roast chicken, I personally think the roast chicken tasted average, the skin was not crispy enough, and the meat was not tender enough. Lotus root sprouts fried with pork belly, lotus root sprouts are sour and spicy, relatively crisp, those who like spicy food can try it. Reservoir bighead carp, fish are OK. Ginger juice oil salt bamboo tube rice, tastes good, fragrant, and was quickly cleared. Overall, the price and taste are good.

This is a pretty good farm restaurant with a wide variety of dishes and a large area. Not many people come here for bad reasons. The service attitude is quite good, the decoration is also quite unique, and there are many seafood options. However, we were short on time, so we just had a simple meal.

This is a relatively ordinary farm house. As it is close to the highway intersection, it is quite busy. It mainly serves Hunan cuisine, which is a special dish. There are quite a lot of dishes, but the taste is quite average. The surrounding environment is also quite average. The service attitude is pretty good.
