Yangtai Mountain Forest Park is located in Bao'an District, with the main peak of Yangtai Mountain as the center, forming a landform with high middle and low sides. The park has sufficient water sources, including 5 small and medium-sized reservoirs and more than 20 mountain springs and streams. It is the birthplace of many rivers in Shenzhen and the upstream water source of many reservoirs. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, it was also the base of the guerrilla Dongjiang Column. They rescued many people from the cultural circles and patriotic democrats, and they were safely transferred to the mountain area of Yangtai Mountain to be successfully rescued, so it is also of revolutionary significance. The park is rich in wild animal and plant resources, and there are 8 species of animals and plants under national key protection. The park has beautiful forest scenery resources. "Yangtai Pinecui" is rated as one of "Shenzhen's Eight Scenic Spots". The Yangtai Mountain Mountaineering Festival is also held every year, attracting many mountaineering enthusiasts. It is a free lung-washing resort for Shenzhen residents. There are two main mountaineering entrances now. One is from the main entrance, Dalang Entrance Square. The road is more tortuous, with dense plants along the way. You can also see the Yangtai Mountain Waterfall, etc. It takes about three or four hours to climb to the top of the mountain. One is from Shiyan Yangtai Mountain Square, from the Yangtai Mountain Archway, along the stone steps all the way up, you can see many Jiangnan-style buildings, and it only takes one or two hours to reach the top of the mountain. The view of the city from the top of the mountain is very pleasant.
