The restaurant is located at a quiet „non-touristic“ spot on Ortigia island. We had fish and meat courses, both were absolutely delicious. Especially the beef fillet with a mushroom sauce had an outstanding quality. Francesco the waiter was so friendly and helpful and he even could speak in German with us.Grazie mille per tutto!!

Very good traditional food, with excellent service by the staff.Food is rather pricey, but worth it considering the quality and the overall experience.Highly recommended.
The seafood they offered was of high quality and very fresh, especially the oysters and Sicilian red shrimp. That's why we ordered it twice. The seasoning of the tuna tartare was outstanding and left a lasting impression. The chef's special that day was octopus pasta, and its sauce was very flavorful and unique, unlike the common sauces used in other restaurants. The restaurant had a rich wine list to choose from, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that their whiskey selection included local Sicilian options as well as Japanese varieties. The experience here was definitely better than other places that only serve dishes with salt or thick tomato sauce. The next time we visit Siracusa, we will definitely return.
We had the lobster linguine and the linguine vongole. Both were excellent. 10/10.
The restaurant has just opened for the season and didn’t seem ready to open. Not all on the menu was available and service was poor. Some of the food was good, but some arrived overcooked and cold. Paying was a bit difficult as we had to pay separate for food and drink. It was not clear to us that the 20% discount only applied to the food and not drink. There was no ice to keep the wine cool. Never heard of such thing in a pricey restaurant. Overall it was overpriced, service was bad and some of the entrees arrived cold and overcooked. I don’t think we will be back given the very large number of other very good restaurants in Ortigia.
