Trattoria del Buongustaio

We were welcomed by the very friendly staff and dined outside. Service was outstanding and the menu had something for everyone. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes. We live in Sicily and brought some new friends here for their first Sicilian meal. We were not disappointed! We highly recommend this restaurant.

I was disappointed. Whilst the food was not badly cooked, it was not well seasoned and most of the flavour came from the lemon and olive oil I added. It was adequate but not inspiring and I certainly was not persuaded to return by what I ate.

I really like spaghetti carbonara, but it was the worst I've had in my life. Instead of real spaghetti carbonara I got pasta in scrambled eggs. I do not recommend :(

We had the spaghetti alla siracusana and it was wonderful !
