Gowings

Gowings Bar & Grill is a western restaurant near Darling Harbour in Sydney. It has a nice view and the environment is really nice. I ordered my favorite steak.

The first meal after arriving in Sydney was solved here~ Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the menu, so I forgot what the dish was [laughing and crying] I remember that the first picture is oysters~ I didn’t know what those people meant by "fresh" before, but I understood it after trying it this time. Fresh seafood, served in its original flavor, with just a little vinegar as a condiment. You can still feel a little fishy smell of the sea when you put it in your mouth, but it doesn’t affect your appetite. The oyster meat is very chewy and very elastic. During the slow chewing, the fishy smell gradually disappears, replaced by a hint of sweetness, which is different from the sweetness of any sugar, and is the sweetness of the food itself. From this, I understand what "fresh" means, really Pictures 2 and 4 are both fish. I am sure there is salmon, but I really don’t remember which one it is [sweating] I should eat more of the fish in Picture 2, which is light and delicious, and does not wipe out the original taste of the fish. Picture 3 is chicken, served in a whole large piece. I have never seen such a complete chicken served on the table in China. I feel that the size should be half of the body of a chicken. We also had a plate of mashed potatoes and a plate of salad. Maybe I was too excited to take a photo. The mashed potatoes are real, a timeless classic. No matter what, they taste good. The layout of the restaurant, without a doubt, gives five stars. It is definitely my style, well-arranged, simple and refreshing. Add a little jazz to liven up the atmosphere, watch the bartender perform cocktails, and the atmosphere is so good~Btw, the waiters in the restaurant are all super handsome, not because of their good looks, but because of their taste. It's a pity that I'm a newcomer and I don't dare to take photos casually...

This is a high-grade steak seafood restaurant in Sydney on Market Street. The restaurant is in a good environment, full of fashionable elements, and the waiters are very polite. The steaks made in the restaurant taste good, tender and juicy, and enjoy it in your mouth. Although it is more expensive to consume here, I feel very worth it.

Finally had the opportunity to go here. Wow, worthy of my expectations. Great lively atmosphere, outstanding wine list, good menu. The pickled raw beef on the head plate is delicious! This is a different hotel with rustic decoration and beautiful staff. The service is very good and pays attention to details. Quite expensive but worth every penny back! You deserve to have! The staff was very friendly and we will definitely come back. The martini was great too!

I had a time to go to eat here especially and finally my wish was realized. Absolutely perfect food, first class service, excellent wine list. The menu is oversized and difficult to make a decision, but it is true that everyone can find the food they like. I went with a group of colleagues. This place itself is very high-end, passing by the Cottage Hotel, next door is the National Grand Theatre on Market Street (Market Street). Public transportation is the main way of passage in Sydney. It is very convenient to take the train to the City Hall. Get off at Martin Place and cross the road. For Gowings Bar & Grill restaurants, all aspects are impeccable.
