This mutton soup is called Шурпа, which is transliterated as Shulba, which seems to be a translation from Persian. The dictionary definition is mutton soup.
It is a clear soup made with tender mutton, potatoes and carrots, with shallots and fennel. The first bite of this soup knocked me down, not greasy or smelly, and it was endless aftertaste.
