But today I want to talk about Thailand&#39;s niche boutique leisure tourism destination~Chanthaburi. This is an original ecological tourism destination that even many local Thais have not been to, and those who have been there say it is worth experiencing.

Chanthaburi Province is located in the east of Thailand, close to the Thai-Cambodian border, and about 245 kilometers away from the capital Bangkok. Chanthaburi is known as the &quot;Gem City&quot; because it is rich in pure sapphires and rubies. Of course, in addition to gems, there are many attractions that make people linger. If you are interested, follow me to see what is worth lingering in Chanthaburi for two days and one night~
one day:
1️⃣Depart from Bangkok at 8:30 in the morning, drive 3 hours to the Chanthaburi beach, and enjoy an open-air lunch by the sea at Ao Kung Wiman Area. Then have a relaxing afternoon tea while listening to the sound of the waves. I personally recommend coffee cove, which has style and scenery.
2️⃣ Drive 5 minutes to Chaloem Burapha Chonlathit Road by the sea, stroll along the quiet country road, and feel the beauty of nature.
There is a Noen Nang Phaya viewing platform here, where you can see the turquoise sea, and the sparkling sea water reflects the sun.
This is also the place to see the most beautiful scenery of Chaloem Burapha Chonlathit Road. A winding two-lane road, tilted and extending parallel to the coast.

3️⃣ At 3 pm, go to Ban Hua Laem Chedi, an ancient pagoda on the sea with a history of more than 200 years. It is a spiritual pillar built for fishermen. Because in the past, fishing was a dangerous profession, and this pagoda was built to ensure the safety of every boat. (Check in, take photos and pray for 40 minutes)
4️⃣ There are many temples in Chanthaburi, which is one of the important religious and cultural coverage areas in Thailand. At 4pm, we went to Wat Paknam Khaem Nu, a temple decorated with blue ceramics, also known as the &quot;Blue Temple&quot;. Inside the temple, there are four wooden doors decorated with low reliefs to commemorate the history of the Buddha. Outside the temple, the doors and windows are decorated with inlays to look like angels guarding the gate. It is very photogenic and the girls love it.
⌚️At 5pm, we went to visit Khuk Khi Kai (French Chicken Shit Prison) and Tuek Daeng Historical Site (French Command Historical Site) to learn about the bitterness and suffering of prisons under colonial rule during that period.
⌚️With a sunset dinner, experience the atmosphere of the old and new night markets of the locals. Then check in to the comfortable Rimnaam Klangchan Hotel in Chanthaburi and soak in the swimming pool to relieve fatigue.
two day:
1️⃣Sleep until you wake up naturally, experience and explore the Chantabun community and the authentic gem market, and integrate into the leisure and work life of the locals.
2️⃣Visit the French cathedral built in 1909 and admire the Virgin Mary inlaid with 230,000 blue diamonds💎, which is very spectacular!

Of course, you can&#39;t miss the local seafood noodles for lunch, which are so delicious😋

Great place for vegetarian!
Our family always come here for our holiday. Their food and service always remain one of the best in Rayong. They do have various choices for vegetarian. Also, for the breakfast buffet, if you have special need for dietary, they never hesitate to cook new fresh dishes for you. We would like to say big thank you to all staff especially Mr Chana, executive sous chef for his caring on our special dietary request and to his creativity for making us super delicious food.
