Cafe Brandpunt

The city is quite dead on NYE. so it was nice to find this restaurant open. The drinks (cocktails) were amazing and well priced. The portions of the main course are quite large, which is great. The flavors were nor as great as we expected, but we were still happy with the meal.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the dishes, we had a nice dinner, service and atmosphere were top, there was a nice music but not so hard that we couldn't understand each other. I'll be back here again!

Simple map, very nice staff who did very best to make it sense (such as picking up sheep milk from neighbors).

This is the week closed before Tilburg Singt, a ode to the king and Tilburg. The terrace is not full despite the beautiful weather. I'm sorry we have to eat inside. What we get is okay. I'll take the weekend, as almost always. This time a bunny bread with pulled meat served with coals and fries. The cook does his best to cook not only good, but also healthy. Hulde. I like it and the portion is spacious. My love eats satén with fries and vegetables. The coconut gives the whole a nice twist, I'm trying as a little with her bite. We drink it and a good glass of Westmalle double and triple Karmeliet. I'm sorry we couldn't sit out.

We're going to the Brand Point for a quick sweet shovel, we're both taking a weekly shovel, chickenburger with sriracha sauce and drinking a western soup double, the chickenburger is very nice, nicely panted and the vegetables are hidden in it. The terrace is full of rain, but you'll be booked through the Fork, and we'd have chosen it. The food between the dirty second hand tobacco smoke doesn't pull us like that, it's quite empty inside it could have been more pleasant.
