Turning In

DONT GO THERE. AWFUL!

We had an awful night at this place. Turning in turned out to be an extremely bad experience. We don’t understand the good ratings. The host was mad from the beginning. He forced us to wear gloves when playing pool, never tried that before, like we had a kind of disease. We know exactly how to play, but he was all over us from the very first second, constantly looking at us and saying if we didn’t do everything just the way he wanted. We ordered 3 drinks and a beer. We waited 40 minutes!!!! And we were almost the only people there. When we finally god the drinks, they didn’t taste good, and the pina colada tasted like @*%$!! We couldn’t even finish that drink. Thank you for nothing. And btw. It smells like a weed forest. DONT GO THERE

Breath of Freedom

Coming up for air 🤪 What a breath of fresh air after riding single track mud tracks & broken roads among the villages of the far north west for ten days. Not a tourist crossed & only 1 poor bugger found that spoke English roasting a wee pig in Dien Bien. I decided I needed a reprieve as much as I was loving everything . Here it was , TURNING IN and it’s owner and barman Wee( sure that’s not how it’s spelt 🫣) . Wondered town for a few hours in the hope of just a place to put my feet up , a cold one and have a yarn in English and then stumbled on it! 5 minutes away from the chaos. Cold beers , cocktails , great music and fun as hell interior design . So happy . If ya need a brake , got park it there!
