1. Basic Information 

The Uyuni Salt Flats is located in the southwest of Bolivia. It is the largest salt flat in the world, with an altitude of 3,656 meters and an area of ​​about 10,582 square kilometers. It is not only a paradise for photography enthusiasts, but also a holy place for healing the soul. 

2. Climate and temperature 

The local area belongs to the plateau climate, with a great temperature difference between day and night. December to March of the following year is the rainy season, which is also the best time to watch the mirror of the sky. The daytime temperature is 15-25&deg;C, and the night temperature may drop below 5&deg;C; April to November is the dry season, the weather is clear and dry, the daytime temperature is 20-30&deg;C, and the night temperature may drop to around 0&deg;C. 

3. Surrounding food 

- Roasted alpaca meat: a local specialty food, tender meat, unique taste, worth a try. 
- Quinoa cuisine: Quinoa is one of the main crops in Bolivia. It is rich in nutrients and you can taste various dishes such as quinoa soup and quinoa cakes.
- Salt-baked trout: Fresh trout is baked with local salt, with crispy skin and tender and juicy fish meat.

- Flamingo Paradise - Lake Colorada: This is the habitat of flamingos, and a large number of flamingos live and breed here every year. The pink lake and the flocks of flamingos set off each other, forming a beautiful picture.
- Cactus Island: Located in the center of the salt marsh, the island is full of huge cacti, some of which are even more than a hundred years old, like giants in the desert.
