Basara - Venezia

I found the sushi here to be quite good. The cocktails, prepared by the bartender (also the waiter), which were crafted with fresh mint and a hint of wasabi - were stellar. The restaurant decor is stylish (subtly modern) and provides a nice respite for the eyes from the ubiquitous Venetian shabby-chic interiors prevelant in this zone's restaurants.

Excellent meal! We had assortment of nigiri sushi, rolls and appetizers, and all were great! We are serious sushi lovers, and this place rates very high in terms of fish quality, freshness, and preparation. On top of this, the service was excellent! The only part that could have been better is the location of our table. We were seated in the outside area, and it was quite hot and I was bothered by the few mosquitoes. This did not however effect how much we enjoyed our dining experience. Highly recommend!

If your'e a fan of Japanese food ...Dont miss Basara .when youre in Venezia ....10/10 ...I only hope the owner wants to bring one to Australia soon !

Basara is is our sushi local and the team is always nice and food always excellent. As it was a night out with just my daughter we didn’t go for the more creative things from the menu (which I recommend!) but they always make simple things that she likes! We are temaki fans and theirs are excellent.

Excellent sushi and service. One of our favorite places in Italy that we ate at (we went to 4 michelin star restaurants while we were there). The service was also excellent.
