Greeted with a sheepish, kind smile by George himself. ????. Ambiance is soft and very inviting. Velvet chairs with a rustic, modern touch. Food was the best I&rsquo;ve had on this trip to France!  Perfectly French prepared, flaky sea bass. Sat on a bed of pillowy risotto. Tomato&rsquo;s came straight from the garden, so fresh!  The experience was in perfect order!  Merci Beaucoup, George!  Texas will be back!

A cozy place offering a fabulous French experience.  Tried majority of the items on the menu and all were outstanding.  The server went above and beyond to make it a special night. A must for dinner if you&#39;re in Versailles.

We were excited with the reservation as the restaurant has a high charm factor from the street. In fact, this is actually the only strength of the place. The food was average which was surprising. With only three mains on the menu, they should be perfect. Instead we were left with cold soup and the chewiest steak in Versailles.Won&rsquo;t go back but nice ambiance,

liked the warmth of the place when it was Chez Steph&rsquo;s. didn&rsquo;t feel the same

Great Italian restaurant after visiting Versailles. Excellent antipasto plate for 2 &amp; also enjoyed thin crust Cappricciosa pizza shared. Good service, fair wine price for a fine red. Thanks for a good meal &amp; experience.

We loved this restaurant!! The buffet style was perfect for our family. All of the food was exceptionally good and prepared with care.  The vibe was casual&mdash; which is what we wanted after three hours touring Versailles  The wait staff was very helpful and friendly and kind. Loved the selection of appetizers in small glasses. My friend said the squid ink pasta was one of the best dishes he had in Paris! The chocolate mousse dessert was heavenly.  Highly recommend.

If you look a tradional French Bistro, this is it but more. Young talented crew cooking and serving with passion. Picrure of Le Salamandre could be the defining image in wikipedia for such place. Amazing food. Reserve your table via the well functioning online service during high season. I visit Versailles 6-8 times a year and Le is always on my list. 13/10.

The food was very good and HUGE portions. They serve the cous cous and vegetables family style, which is how it would be served in Morocco. Garbanzo beans and raisins, plus picante come on the side. Each person gets their chosen meat(s). My son and I both enjoyed the food and left full!The traditional mint tea is a great way to finish the meal.

Great food! Even if you are not a guest at the hotel, you should try this restaurant. Well executed dishes, service was with a smile (a little room for improvement perhaps) and the bar/dining area had a great vibe.
