If you look a tradional French Bistro, this is it but more. Young talented crew cooking and serving with passion. Picrure of Le Salamandre could be the defining image in wikipedia for such place. Amazing food. Reserve your table via the well functioning online service during high season. I visit Versailles 6-8 times a year and Le is always on my list. 13/10.

The best steak frites in Versailles, so good I&rsquo;ve been twice and I&rsquo;ll go again before I leave. Tried a few other places and they don&rsquo;t beat La Salamandre on presentation, quality, taste and value. Very good desserts and Irish coffee too. Perfect service and dog friendly too. Give it a go!

This is such a great gem.  With a warm and welcoming atmosphere.  The food is all prepared in house based on the day&rsquo;s ingredients. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Fantastic experience.

Great Italian restaurant after visiting Versailles. Excellent antipasto plate for 2 &amp; also enjoyed thin crust Cappricciosa pizza shared. Good service, fair wine price for a fine red. Thanks for a good meal &amp; experience.

We loved this restaurant!! The buffet style was perfect for our family. All of the food was exceptionally good and prepared with care.  The vibe was casual&mdash; which is what we wanted after three hours touring Versailles  The wait staff was very helpful and friendly and kind. Loved the selection of appetizers in small glasses. My friend said the squid ink pasta was one of the best dishes he had in Paris! The chocolate mousse dessert was heavenly.  Highly recommend.

The food was of a very high standard - simple french traditional food but excellent quality and cooking.  The waiters were very attentive and we had a lovely relaxing meal.  Would definitely go back.

Greeted with a sheepish, kind smile by George himself. ????. Ambiance is soft and very inviting. Velvet chairs with a rustic, modern touch. Food was the best I&rsquo;ve had on this trip to France!  Perfectly French prepared, flaky sea bass. Sat on a bed of pillowy risotto. Tomato&rsquo;s came straight from the garden, so fresh!  The experience was in perfect order!  Merci Beaucoup, George!  Texas will be back!

Great food !! Food was delicious and fresh ! The waiter was really nice and the atmosphere was great for a &agrave; lunch with my colleague. I highly recommend it !
