La Salamandre

If you look a tradional French Bistro, this is it but more. Young talented crew cooking and serving with passion. Picrure of Le Salamandre could be the defining image in wikipedia for such place. Amazing food. Reserve your table via the well functioning online service during high season. I visit Versailles 6-8 times a year and Le is always on my list. 13/10.

The best steak frites in Versailles, so good I’ve been twice and I’ll go again before I leave. Tried a few other places and they don’t beat La Salamandre on presentation, quality, taste and value. Very good desserts and Irish coffee too. Perfect service and dog friendly too. Give it a go!

This is such a great gem. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is all prepared in house based on the day’s ingredients. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Fantastic experience.
