Rock'n Grill Cafe

Riverside Garden Music Restaurant (Rock n Grill Cafe) is one of my favourite entertainment/dining/drinking venues in Yangshuo Old Town. Since it lies in a prominent location there is plenty of pedestrian traffic passing by, and always gets a healthy turnover of patrons, especially on Weekends. They have two singers/guitar players who alternate from 6pm to midnight gigs. Both girls are good to listen to. Rock n' grill offers a variety of dishes and has a good international range of beers, wines and spirits. Is one of the few places that still sells German beers such as Paulaner Erdinger and Munich (MB),since the demise of the Rosewood Restaurants. Some dishes it has to be said are better than others - the curries and pastas are just so so. The beer fish is OK. Chicken Cajun pizza is tasty, as is their hamburger. Markets itself as a Vietnamese style restaurant but only the fresh prawn spring rolls resemble anything close to authentic Vietnamese food. The steaks are expensive but good, but overall the 'Thai' style roasted chicken is succulent and one of their best.

When you come to Yangshuo, you will come back. This is the feeling of the past. Because there are many foreign restaurants on the West Street of Yangshuo, there are many foreigners here. After the epidemic, Yangshuo slowly recovered, and there are more and more people in the world. It’s just that there are relatively many Chinese people now. If you want to eat Southeast Asian food on West Street, it’s good to come to this place. After all, this dish is mainly Southeast Asia.

Shanse Western Restaurant is located on the side of Osmanthus Creek on West Street. It is a restaurant I found online. It is said to have been open for twelve years. The overall environment of Shanse is very quiet. It is in a small alley and is also very quiet. There are several waiters in the restaurant, providing a variety of Western food, Thai food, Southeast Asian food, and local food. We ordered the roadside pizza, Thai sweet and spicy fried chicken, cheese and red wine pasta, salad, and juice in the store. In general, the taste is okay, but I don’t like the garden salad, which has a strong onion flavor. However, the roadside pizza is recommended, which is delicious and fragrant! The two of us spent more than 100 yuan and were very full! I saw that the store also provides afternoon tea sets. If you don’t want to go out in the hot summer, you can also come here to order an afternoon tea set. It is also very pleasant to listen to the gurgling water outside!

I went there because the reviews were pretty good. I don't know if it was because of the time or something, but I was the only customer. I ordered pineapple rice and pork neck, which is said to be the signature dish. To be honest, the pineapple rice didn't have any special taste, and I didn't finish the pork neck, but it felt okay! The total cost for the two was about 100 yuan.

I searched on Ctrip's guide and found this place's guide was good, so I went there. Because my daughter is not used to the taste of local food, it is said that the Western food here is good. The restaurant is easy to find and the service attitude is also good. I feel that the Tom Yum Goong soup is good and the taste is strong. It tastes very similar to the taste I had in Phuket. Anyway, it is amazing. The baked cheese macaroni is good and creamy. The roadside pizza is the same as what some netizens said. The pizza base is a bit hard, but the pizza tastes good and the cheese is strong. This restaurant and the Asian restaurant across the river are owned by the same boss. This restaurant specializes in Western and Thai food, and that restaurant specializes in Vietnamese and Southeast Asian food. The price is not low, about the same as that in Shanghai, and the environment is petty bourgeoisie. Happy friends can try it.

A restaurant in Yangshuo that specializes in Thai cuisine. I ordered a Tom Yum Goong soup and pineapple fried rice. The soup was very rich, the shrimp and shells were fresh, and the seasoning was complete, close to the authentic Thai taste. The fried rice was quite large, the ingredients were rich, the taste and texture were very good, and I ate the more delicious pineapple fried rice. The service was particularly warm and thoughtful, a thumbs up, the tableware was also good, the environment was great, and the price was good.
