古道村落(温汤店)

First meal when I arrived at Wentang Town. I stayed at the Vision Hotel and walked a distance to the Wenquan Ancient Street. I found a random restaurant that looked nice and had plenty of seats, so I sat down. The food was served quite quickly. The list of dishes was OK, average. The porcini mushrooms were delicious and tender. Each table was also given dried sweet potatoes. I guess they were afraid that the guests would be hungry while waiting for the food. This was quite special.

温汤古井是南宋定运禅师所砌泉井，至今已有780多年历史，被誉为“千年禅宗温泉”。其水温常年保持在六、七十度，是世界稀奇的低矿化度的淡温泉，富含硒和其他多种对人体有益的微量元素。目前世界所开发的泉水中，属“高硒低硫”泉的只有两处，一处是法国的“埃克斯”矿泉，另一处便是中国宜春温汤温泉，它也是全世界唯一与法国埃克斯矿泉齐名媲美的世界珍稀温泉名水。
