Chez Mal at Malmaison York

We spent the weekend in York and ate twice at the Malmaison bar and grill. Both occasions were perfect, great customer service and great food, just what we wanted

We decided last minute to make a reservation at Malmaison Bar and Grill. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent fish of the day and Steak Stripe 250g with cauliflower cheese and fries. Worth a visit when in York. Recommended.

Such amazing place staff friendly and helpful assistance with food choices Elizebeth our waitress was so polite and happy girl nothing was too much . Very clean place amazing look with furniture choices. We loved it and will be returning

The service was attentive. The New York steak was requested as medium rare but came to the table very rare and not fully rested.

Very nice Christmas meal. Very noisy, too much background music. Excellent service. Very good staff. Pity nobody on the door reception, just reception at the restaurant. Coats were hung on the back of chairs. Rather expensive! Included Champagne but a glass of wine would have been good too!
