We had a family meal for six there and everyone enjoyed their meal.Staff were friendly and attentive but let us enjoy our meal in peace which we appreciated.Thank you Red Lion. We will come back.

We have visited here for an evening meal several times now on our mini break away. Delightful seating areas, friendly and helpful staff, I think reasonably priced too as the portions are very filling! I am working my way through the menu and I have not been disappointed. The food is fantastic! Cooked well and absolutely delicious. Starters are fabulous especially the scotch egg and the mains are superb. The brisket was delicious! We need to return for the rib eye steak as it was sold out when we got there, but easter weekend and our booking was late so I do understand. Only one problem, we have always been too full for a dessert! Gutted !Great place and dog friendly too. Monty was very happy pinching some of our brisket ????
