I came here specially after seeing the reviews. The whole shop is industrial style. I like the location of the outdoor door. There are a few outdoor leisure chairs, which are very comfortable. But the interior is relatively quiet. To be honest, I don’t like it very much. It is in an alley behind Yangshe Old Street, a commercial food district - Back Alley Lane. There are many shops in the Back Alley Lane, such as teahouses, desserts, barber shops, photography studios, etc. The main colors of the Back Alley Cafe are black, white and gray. There are two floors. The first floor is a cafe and the second floor is a cake shop. The two floors are independently operated. There is a row of chairs and stools next to the floor-to-ceiling glass window, with about 3-4 tables. The decoration is also very simple, giving the feeling of being in a brand chain coffee shop. 🛎 Taste: 『DIRTY』: Maybe because the taste of the previous one was really special, the taste of this one didn't hit us very much, but it was not bad, just quite standard. 『Cake』: There is an event for cakes. I remember that when we ordered, it was buy one get one free. Tiramisu tastes good and goes well with coffee, but the other chestnut egg yolk cheesecake is a bit greasy, and I feel that only American style can hold it. 👉🏼 Personal feeling: I personally prefer a cozy little shop where I can stay for a whole afternoon. The industrial style is still too bland for me.
