It is about 10 minutes away from Main Street and not easy to find the way without a map. However the view from the big balcony of the lobby is very awesome and let everyone relaxing. There is 180 degree view facing the town of El Calafate with nice shading of sunrise and sunset. The staff of front desk is helpful in advising local tour and arranging shuttle bus to airport. The staff of restaurant is nice to explain the menu n Spanish while I can speak in English only.
The hostel is conveniently located very close to the trailhead, and the dorm room was clean and quiet. The music in the living/dining area played all day. It would be nicer if the volume could be lowered or the music turned off earlier in the morning. It was also unfortunate that someone stole my water bottle, which I had prepared and filled with electrolyte for my hike the next day.
It is a beautiful apartment, clean, very good view nearby, no breakfast. But there are restaurants nearby The disadvantage is that it is a little far from the city center.
Very nice hostel, the attitude of the staff is really good 👌 Answers all questions, it should be considered a very good service in South American countries! Free breakfast is provided, except that there are no eggs and meat, everything else is available! I was very pleasantly surprised!

All perfect! We were very well received by the Danny and Elen couple, they provided great city tips and tours. They were hospitality. Good morning coffee and impeccable cleaning. Super recommend hosting at Hostel Danny. Sure if I'll return to El Calafat one day we'll be hosted again at Hostel Danny.
