This place is conveniently located near both the train and bus stations. There are plenty of eateries and supermarkets nearby, making it a great location—especially for the price. There's even a bus stop right outside the hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The room we stayed in was a bit small, but my friends had a much more spacious one—so I guess it depends on your luck. The water pressure in the bathroom was strong, though there was a bit of noise from the showerhead. There’s no air conditioning, but the room stayed quite cool at night.
They have a laundry room as well, though you need to pay €5 for the washer and €4.50 for the dryer. Soundproofing isn’t on par with a hotel, but it was still acceptable for me. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
The only hotel in the entire trip that does not allow deferred payment and free cancellation. Generally speaking, the earlier you book a European hotel, the cheaper it is. However, this hotel is special. The price of the two days I stayed there was at least 10 euros cheaper than the actual price I paid. I always felt a little uncomfortable. Fortunately, their service is very authentic and considerate, full of details.
The photos of the hotel were posted yesterday, and today I will post a few photos of the surrounding tours from here.
It is located in between central station and old town, around 1 km away from all the spots but the room is spacious compare to other hotels at better location.
There’s no reception to assist with check in but the whole experience is seamless as they will provide the code for self check in which is super easy. Free luggage storage is available too for early check in and late check out! Highly recommended.

The location is very good, just a few minutes' walk from the central train station and within walking distance to various attractions. The facilities are ordinary but clean and tidy. Although the breakfast is not much, it tastes good and has met normal needs. The lady at the front desk is smiling and has a good service attitude. The price-performance ratio is good.

I came with my parents and was looking for a place with multiple beds, so I made a reservation. The place is clean, but small. I don't know if it's because Austrian accommodations are like that, but they lack basic amenities and if you don't ask for it, they don't provide room cleaning service. But they didn't tell me when I checked in. The place is clean.

The hotel is located on the opposite side of the castle, not far from the Mozart house, built in the 1500s. 20 minutes from the train station, close to all attractions. No breakfast, but 24 hours of free tea, coffee, and a small bottle of milk and sliced bread in the morning. The 18-square-foot room has more than three beds, a large closet and a refrigerator. There is only a small piece of soap in the toiletries, and the hair dryer is borrowed from the front desk. Overall is still recommended.
The Gasthof Limberghof is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Zell am See will find that the Gasthof Limberghof is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is conveniently located a short 5km drive from Zell Am See. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Falken Air Paragliding Zell am See, Feelgood Center Zell am See and Skischool Zell am See. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.

AAnonymous UserHaus Wartenberg is charming and feels like you are staying at your grandmother’s house. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is lots of antique and vintage art and furniture to look at. Staff were helpful and friendly.
There were a just few things that could have made the stay better. The rooms didn’t have air conditioning or fans provided - or I wasn’t offered one. In the room, bedsheets had visible stains and there was some light dust and common household bugs in the room.
The old furniture gives it a nice touch. There are some nice spaces to enjoy relaxing like reading a book etc.
If you like an alternative feeling to sterile and stale hotel environments then this is the place for you!
