Everything was fine as expected from a budget hotel. Receptionists were nice, although they can’t really speak English. The only issue upon check in was that I was asked to pay the hotel fees again even if I already prepaid online. They said that they did not charge the card when i made the prepayment as it was only meant to reserve the rooms. So i paid right then and there at the reception once again. Then this morning, i check that both cards (the one used for prepayment and the one used at the reception) were actually charged. Now, i have duplicate payments which I’m still tryint to resolve with Trip customer service.
In addition, we were suddenly awoken the next morning due to all the noise right outside our door. Somebody was shouting/talking so loudly and kept banging things. When i opened the door, it was the housekeeping lady. What is the purpose of putting the “do not disturb” sign on the door if the person who’s not supposed to disturb you is actually disturbing you from directly outside your room. This is the first time i have met such a loud housekeeper and the first time a housekeeper did not greet “good morning” eventhough we met eye-to-eye.
The good parts of the stay were the location/cleanliness and the service - nothing to comment as they were perfect.
Below are some suggestion for improvement :-
There are no lockers in the rooms.
There is no pantry (Common place) or facility to warm the food or water.
The room doors are quite noisy. I guess they should install a soft closing mechanism as some people can be insensitive to others' comfort, even at night time.
Housekeeping is not regular (Daily) even if you stay for a week.
For showers, there is no Temperature control. Personally, I found the water relatively cold.
Despite our arrival has a normal time 15h no staff and hosting at the computer boundary and it starts problems ...
1/ne Not recognized reservation ....(1er sav call)
2/payement of the stay tax ( which should be directly in the internet payment for the facility )
3/ sending confirmation mail with access4 that does not arrive (2nd SAV call)
4/ Computer problem digital azerty keyboards are up to the top of the screen and not very accessible
The staff is super welcoming, nothing to complain about.
On the other hand, the rooms are small, that's a fact, but they could at least have a towel for their feet after showering... also, one of the bedside lamps was broken but worked.
Breakfast is very basic, with burnt pain au chocolat and croissants, which is a real shame for a French specialty if you're hosting foreigners! Also, a group had just arrived before our arrival, so all the tables were dirty and the floor was also covered in crumbs, etc. Oh yes, and of the two fruit juices available from the machine (apple and orange), there was only one left by 9 a.m.
Location in an industrial area! Great parking! They are engaged in electric loading! Great parking and all friendly reception! Small room, but very delicious bed! Good breakfast, price quality excellent!
Very basic hotel, far from the city, but with an excellent tram connection. Breakfast very French, only sweets. Supermarket across the street.
Good

GGuest UserBooking Numbers: *********** (PIN 5187/hotel confirmation number: ***************) and *********** (PIN 8304/hotel confirmation number: ***************). We arrived at the hotel just before 8.00 pm on 22/03/2024 - tired after after a long day of travelling. When I presented our ”Check-in vouchers” for the two rooms that we had reserved and pre-paid for online with Trip.com, the lady at the reception said that they were only room guarantees and did not represent that we had already paid for the rooms before arriving at the hotel. Therefore, I gave her our written receipts from Trip.com for our payments for the two rooms and asked her to call Trip.com to confirm that we had already paid for the two rooms. She then gave us incorrect entry codes for our two rooms, for which I had to return to the reception where she then gave me the correct entry codes. Later that evening when we passed the reception to to go out of the hotel to find somewhere to eat and I asked her if she had telephoned Trip.com yet, she acknowledged that the rooms had already been paid for online.
GGuest UserThis hotel location was very clean calming area but 11 minutes far from the centre by train, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean with good breakfast in the morning, but the only problem I really didn't like it was the toilet, the toilet was extremely small, very very small that we couldn't take shower at all because the water was getting outside of the toilet to the sleeping room,I wish if we had good toilet to feel comfortable in the place, otherwise it was really good experience as it was first time to Straßburg,we really love the city and we enjoyed alot.
Thanks alot to the trip.com
AAnonymous UserRoom was spacious, good and clean. The only thing was that the reception hours need to be communicated properly. We arrived at least half hour before the stated closing hours but already no one there. As we booked through trip.com, we didn’t receive the instructions to the safe where they dropped all the keys for « late » guests. But obviously we weren’t even late as mentioned, we arrived before the reception closing hours. Thankfully we met a gentleman who had the safe’s access code and we were able to retrieve our room keys
GGuest UserI needed a place to sleep overnight to break up my trip from the south of France ti Belgium, and this was perfect. Right off the highway, but with no traffic noise or pollution. The clientele, mostly truckers, were polite and quiet, there was no noise at night or in the hallways. The staff was pleasant and readily available, check-in and out was simple, the buffet dinner was a good quality all-you can-eat.
If you're looking for a clean, simple, friendly place to rest on your trip, I highly recommend this hotel.
BBronsteinLike two weeks ago in Ludres, I was overtaken by the Concierge with money claims that were not explainable in part. I had booked on Trip and used Coins. The hotel must at least know that the room is paid. Dumb foreigners take off? The hotel I know for a long time. The rooms are a little bigger than in the neighboring IN hotel and now have a refrigerator and a Senseo machine (photo). The hotel has an elevator and some rooms have a valley view.
It was one of the B & B hotels 3 years ago.
Opening times are limited. Eventually, you are facing closed doors. There is an automatic desk for the reception of the room card.
DDancieLocated a bit far ( 10min walk) from main station. The apartment is quite old and run down. But room was clean. Really need an upgrade on the carpentry and bed. Lighting abit dim in the room.
Bathroom quite clean but Bathroom shower head holder broken.
Good that have microwave oven and hob. Can do simple cooking.
Overlay for a night stay is fine but not so worth with the price pay likely due to Xmas peak period.
