I had a wonderful experience at Relais de Margaux. The staff were really helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The restaurant, which overlooks the golf course, was lovely and created a relaxing atmosphere. The 18-hole golf course offers a serene environment, perfect for unwinding.
What I loved most is that Relais de Margaux caters to both wine lovers and those who don’t play golf, as it’s nestled right in the vineyards and just 40 minutes from Bordeaux. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to return!
Good for a first class hotel ... Clean ... nice staff. In contrast, noise level c is not the top, as I was in the DRC I heard all of the floors when a person is shower or just opening the water or when you shoot the water hunt .
Accessible hotel, low price with breakfast included with wide choice, rather quiet except when the dogs bark but otherwise comfortable bedding room large enough for 4

L’hôtel était propre, il n’était pas mal du tout rapport qualité prix logique. L’inconvénient c’est que l’ascenseur ne marche pas j’étais au troisième étage aussi c’est des petites chambres toute petite chambre.

Good for 1 night. Doesn’t have much around it. No public transport.
Room was good. Shower had stains at the bottom.
Vending machine expensive even for a tea. Breakfast had a lot to chose from.

Very Good
GGuest UserI really like this hotel, the location is perfect for the old town, with shops, bars, cafes etc within a few metres walk. The main transport square is only maybe 50m away, with lots of buses and bikes. It’s such a cool vibe inside the hotel, like 70’s style. Very friendly staff, very good value. The breakfast is ok, like a continental selection, nothing hot (apart from boiled eggs) but it’s fine. I’m on the second floor and here is a slight fan type noise all the time, it’s quieter as you go down each floor, but I’ve slept well. The veranda is a little grubby, as is the central outdoor area, but everything else is immaculate. Don’t expect that perfect modern hotel look, the bathroom for example looks “dated” but that’s the point - it’s really clean and looks so cool and homely, not like all the usual modern hotels that have no character. Good selection of books downstairs. I really like the place, originally booked 3 nights but extended that to just over a week which says something. Only marked 3 for Services as there’s not much else other than rooms, a chill out area and the breakfast room, so don’t expect spas/pools etc
GGuest UserThe hotel's breakfast is good, that is, the variety is too small, the price is small, the hot chocolate is super delicious, highly recommended. The hotel is just opposite the high-speed rail station. It was chosen for the convenience of the train, but the surrounding security is normal and avoid going out alone at night.
GGuest UserThe room was hot and there was no way to alter the temperature other than turn it off. The room needs reconfiguring as it was not suitable for 2 people. As we are of a certain age and need to get up in the night, it was impossible to do so as the bed was against the wall. It was not fit for the purpose of sleep. The bed was hard and being 186 CMS my feet hung over the edge and was uncomfortable.
The breakfast was expensive for what there was available and this was limited.
We will not be using this hotel again and others in the area will get our business in the future.
GGuest UserA bit of a noisy night, but on the evening of December 31st, you can't be too demanding. The staff is helpful and professional. The bathroom is a bit small for 3 people, but the apartment is relatively clean. The hotel is close to the train station and is quite well located!
AAnonymous UserGood points are the location, comfortable and clean bed (no duvet) and very pleasant staff. Bad points: a very old building with fixtures and fittings to match. No bedside sockets to charge things, two in the room and one stopped working, dirty sink plug, tiles not stuck properly, tired decor and painting. Sad, because it has potential but no money has been spent on it for some considerable time.
OOlivia SinWe stayed at this hotel for some business activities. The overall feeling was very good. The hotel was clean and sanitary. The service attitude of the staff in all departments was also very good, which made people feel very comfortable. If you need to go to this area next time, you will definitely stay in this hotel.
IIgor123What I liked was the comfortable bed, curtains, private bathroom and toilet, clean. Hairdryer is only in the shared shower on the floor. Of the minuses - there is no kitchen, there is only a bar on the ground floor. In the work area, the music is playing loudly. Only beer from the bar is allowed into the common area, not from the store. It's a long walk to the center, but there is a tram nearby. The luggage drawers are small; my bag (airplane size carry-on luggage) did not fit. The bed is wide and comfortable, with sockets and a lamp.
AAnonymous UserHow can I put it? It's in Paris after all. It's next to the train station. Just based on the location and the price, I didn't expect much from it, but under this premise, I am satisfied with it. At least the room is clean and safe. Although the toilet and shower are made of plastic, it feels like a public toilet outside, but it can be used. There is no breakfast. The lady at the front desk is more polite and speaks English. There are restaurants, train stations, subways and light rails next to it, which makes it very convenient to travel. If you come here for the first time and don't know where to stay, you can consider it.
GGuest UserThey allow dog but its important to know they are not allowed in the breakfast space, which is indeed very small. On others Ibis budget I experienced, there is usually a dedicated space or table but in this one it was too small.
This made me discover a very good bakery very close to!
BBIAOThe hotel is a bit far from the city, but you can park for free. If it is a self-driving tour, it is very recommended, because Bordeaux parking is very troublesome. The hotel is very clean, the bathroom is a bit small, the bed is large and the quilt is very comfortable. The hotel's front desk service is also very good. After 9 pm, there is no way to check in.
