The location can reach easily with taxi for about 26 min from Hirosaki Station.

Japanese hot spring hotel, simple, good environment. I was the only foreigner that day. It's just a few steps from Asamushi Station, but there are not many shops around and they have business hours. I arrived late that day and had no food, so I had to ask the front desk aunt to make an appointment for the hot spring. There are three, I randomly chose an empty one, the hygiene is OK, maybe there are not many people in the off-season, but if you have a cleanliness obsession, you can ignore the bath. I went to Aomori and came back late after dinner. The front desk changed to an uncle, who helped me connect to the wifi, and was quite kind. There was no hot water when I washed my face at 12 pm, and the toilet was also cold. The next morning, the water was still cold, but the toilet water was hot. When I left, the front desk changed to an old lady, who kept bowing to see me out. I wanted to smoke a cigarette in the yard before leaving, but I felt embarrassed. I waited for a while before going back to smoke one in the yard before leaving. If time is not urgent, I will stay next time and make an appointment for Japanese set meals in advance, both at noon and in the evening, (it must be early) It should be the kind that the surrounding merchants receive orders and deliver to the hotel, which is cheap and affordable.

It's a bit far from Aomori Station, about 500-600 meters, which takes only a few minutes in summer, but it's a chasm with luggage in winter. It's OK if you take the right road with a corridor. The room is a bit small and the light is a bit dim. It has everything it should have, but it looks old. My mood became gloomy as soon as I walked in. However, everything turned around after I took a hot spring bath. I like their hot spring very much, which is like an upgraded version of the Northern Bathhouse, with all fruits, very clean water, and you can take a bath while sitting. The outdoor pool is also very comfortable. It seems that all the people who come here to take a bath are locals. It's very clean. If the room is worth 200, the hot spring is worth at least 800. If you don't regard all the facilities as a hotel, but as a hot spring spa, it's full marks! The restaurant provides breakfast and dinner, which you have to eat barefoot. I don't understand. The foam of the Shenpao beer is good. In fact, this restaurant occupies a large area. There are 3 gates, one in each direction. After staying for two days, I realized it was time to leave. The only problem is that it is a bit far from the station. In winter, only the main road (in front of Aomori Station) has snow removal measures (spraying water to remove snow). This restaurant may take into account the location of the hot spring. There is no open space for snow removal at the door, which is also a problem. The breakfast is not bad, it looks very rustic, and the main focus is on localization, which is good!

Hotel service attitude is very good. I booked two double rooms online, but I have 3 people in my family. Hotel service staff reminded us that we can change to double rooms and single rooms. The price is still cheap and feels very good

My main reason to go to Ajigasawa was to visit the Takayama Inari Shrine with its snaking Tori gates. It’s about a tenth the length and size of Kyoto’s. Found this ryokan by reviews in the area. It was a toss up between this and the nearby hotel; which turns out to be run by the same group! The ryokan shows its age. But it’s very comfortable, clean and the service, especially by Noro who used his translation app so well, was impeccable! They have map of the property in English. If you drink (alcohol), it’s available in spades! There’s unlimited snacks, water, soda, popsicles, coffee, tea and alcohol for guests. The onsen is open to public, it seemed like the whole village descends after dinner to have a dip! We spent one night: dinner and breakfast were excellent!

I had forgotten to make a reservation for a pick-up from the station, but there was someone there, so I asked and they gladly agreed. The hot spring had a large bath and an open-air bath, and the water temperature was just right. There was also a sauna. The changing room was also clean. The meal plan included one night and two meals, and the amount of fish, wild vegetables, bamboo shoots and maitake mushrooms in a pot, tempura, etc. was so large that it was almost impossible to finish, and I was very satisfied. Breakfast was not a buffet, but Japanese food. There was no meat, so the 20-something child seemed a little disappointed. I'm sure there was meat at the restaurant outside the plan. Most of the guests were middle-aged to elderly, and we were the only young guests. I was satisfied, but overall, I got the impression that it was a hot spring for the elderly, including the food and location.

It is located in the center of Hirosaki city. There is a parking lot near the hotel, but there is a parking lot about 400 meters away that you can use for 400 yen for 24 hours, and we recommend that parking lot. The room is relatively spacious, and the bathtub is also relatively large. I think the bed is comfortable with a memory foam mat.

There are years of hotels. Opposite is the Lake Towada, the scenery is good. Less than five minutes walk from the pier and bus stop. Very easy to find.
