There was heavy rain and road blockage, what a shame, we did not get to stay and enjoy the facilities there. The hotel personnels were very nice to assist us on cancellation. We will definitely stay there if we have a chance to go to Yufuin!
This is a 2 star business hotel. It’s super near to the metro station though, only 2 mins walk and super near to Fukuoka Airport. In terms of location it’s perfect! But the building is very very old and quite worn out. It hasn’t been renovated recently cause everything is old….kinda scary at first but it’s safe. It’s not cheap actually for the quality, in fact i think it’s overpriced but it could be because i booked a room last minute.
Very very good hotel! ! !
The hotel is a bed and breakfast style hotel with front desk staff to provide assistance every afternoon and evening. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. We went to an all-night KTV the day after check-out and did not book a room. The service staff was willing to help store our luggage until the next day. It really helped us a lot. Thank you very much! 💛
The room is very clean and well-equipped. There are cooking stoves, washing machines, and daily supplies. The hotel provides makeup removal and skin care sets and laundry detergent. Towels and bathrobes can be replaced every day. The best thing is that the bed is very soft and comfortable. Sleeping on the bed feels like being wrapped in a mattress, allowing the body to rest well. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the service staff the brand of the mattress. I really hope to buy it back home.
The front desk staff and cleaning staff are very friendly. The hotel is in a good location, close to the fish market and shopping street. There are also very cheap business supermarkets and 24-hour supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. There are many restaurants and convenient transportation.
The overall feeling is really great. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Fukuoka. Thank you for your hospitality😊

Don’t think I can recommend the place. The space is too tight, the tenants are very loud all night and morning, the locker space is too small because they installed the bed above, you have to crouch below. If you don’t care of any comfort - you may stay. But there are better options in Fukuoka.
The female staff is very kind, several of them are very good in English, and the communication is barrier-free; the room is comfortable, but there are not many sockets, the space is limited, and the suitcase is too big to open; there is a kitchen, you can buy ingredients and cook them yourself. It is highly recommended for people who like to cook; The homestay is very literary and Qing style, the location is very convenient to take the bus from Mensigang Station.
Breakfast was clean and delicious The room is a little small, so it's uncomfortable to move. It's great for sleeping. Parking is a little walk away. The good thing is free.
It's right there after getting off the bus stop, so you can reach it without hesitation. The room is equipped with a unit bath. Breakfast is a buffet. There was a mentaiko and it was very delicious. I think it was good to stay though it was a sudden visit.

Overall stay was okay though personally felt it was too pricey considering the small size of the room and the amenities offered. Rate was too high probably because it was a long weekend holiday in Japan. Location is good as it’s near Hakata Station. Staff were courteous and kind and even allowed packed breakfast since we were leaving for a tour.
However, lighting was poor as the room lights were too dim. Room was too small that we could barely open 2 medium-sized luggages.

UUuganzayaSmooth check-in. 2nd floor was giving such a great vibe. Great co-sharing space you could spend your time and enjoy. For the bed, I was having hard time because temperature was too hot for me even the fan is on. (I sleep in such cold room)
OOng Sio TeenIs my first time booked capsule accommodation, good experience only light sleeper need to think twice while stay very much is self service, it was clean, hygiene, well amities provided, you just need pull your luggage & stay in!
First Accommodation location is at a extremely hood location, surrounding few convenient shops (Lawson, 7-11 etc… ) is only less than 3 min walk from Hakata station, super convenient! One more add point, surrounding 2-10min to a few online recommended restaurants!
GGuest UserA traditional ryokan in a good location close to many restaurants. It is an older establishment but was still very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. She made a beautiful breakfast for us which included smoked eel which is traditional for the area. We would stay again if we visited Yanagawa again.

ZZhixiaoIt was clean and close to the station, so it was in a good location, and it was cheap for a night without meals, which I was grateful for. The only drawback is that the shower room is far away.
XXieyinghuaThis hotel is really based on an old house, so it has the flavor of Japan in the last century, especially the bathhouse, which is exactly like what it looks like in the cartoon. I think it is worth experiencing it if you go to Fukuoka!
In addition, the situation of the boss is as other people have commented. They are an old gentleman and an old lady. They should have been doctors in the past. However, since I can speak simple Japanese, we are interchangeable, but I think they can. The one who speaks English used to be a doctor after all.
And the old gentleman is actually a bit nagging. He likes to take me to each device to see how to use it. He feels like the kind of old father we usually have at home. He is full of intimacy, so it is very pleasant to talk to him.
However, it seems that his memory is not very good. Sometimes when he comes in and out, he will forget that you are a tenant and will ask you which room.
Overall, it is an interesting and unique hotel.
GGuest UserNo problems at all during self check-in & out. Very good location with public transportation, local restaurants (tasty!) and convenient store around. Clean and spacious room in Japanese standard. However, the room layout and facilities are not that reasonable:
- two fridges in the room - you have to sleep next to one fridge if sleeping on the extra bed
- again, if sleeping on the extra bed, you have to move out all things from that area
- no space for luggage to be open all the time. i have to place them near the entrance
- good to have a washing machine. but no space and not enough hangers to hang up the wet clothes
GGuest UserBeautiful ryokan. Authentic, relaxed and well-kept. Beautiful garden, located directly on a canal. A stone's throw from a quiet and beautiful shrine and the jetty for the traditional boats. The landlady speaks a little English and is very helpful. We had a large room on the top floor with a view of the canal. Everything is new, large and comfortable. For one or two nights a perfect place for a traditional Japanese overnight stay including Japanese breakfast. Great value for money. A great place off the beaten track. We would come again. Jjollyhau>Usually im quite picky about the restroom, but i have to say its really tidy here cause they clean the hostel everyday💯
>bed space doesn’t feel stuffy or musty at all! The sound proof is better than i thought, comparing with other hostel i have lived. You wont hear squeaky sound when others getting off from the upper bunk (impressed)
> was worrying if its too far away from the station, but the bus station to hakata is actually 3 minutes walk only, and they come very often. convenient!
Conclusion: comfy and nothing to complain!
