The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to provide local information and assistance. The rooms are simply yet warmly decorated, incredibly clean and tidy, with soft, comfortable bedding ensuring a good night's sleep. While the bathroom facilities aren't particularly spacious, the hot water is plentiful, water pressure is stable, and everything is very well-maintained and clean, putting one at ease. Overall, it creates a 'home away from home' relaxing atmosphere, with attention to detail evident in prioritizing guest comfort. Thoughtful Amenities, Great Value for Money: The guesthouse offers strong and stable free Wi-Fi, which is crucial for guests needing to stay connected or handle business. The most pleasant surprise is its excellent value for money. For such clean accommodation and attentive service, the room rate is incredibly reasonable, making it definitely the top choice for budget-conscious or convenience-prioritizing savvy travelers staying in Johor Bahru.

The door is already opened when we get there.. it was fuss free to check in and out with their kiosk machine. There is also good food around the place and laundry store if needed to wash laundry. Overall a comfortable stay for a short trip.

Recently transitioned to the Swing & Pillows brand, with ongoing renovation that's now largely complete. The all-important Quality of Welcome, so rare in JB hotels, is outstanding. Kudos to Umar, Jason and the team. 👍🏼 😍. Check in is fast and efficient. Keypad code for entry to the property if reception unattended may seem obvious, but it's a big help with both security and quality of life for hotel guests. Rooms are truly spotless, towels and linens are new and fresh, the bathrooms functional and the showers 🚿 enjoyable. All these things are rareties that are not to be taken for granted with JB hotels in this price range. By the way, even the Single Room No Windows is fairly spacious and the aircon and WiFi (do select the 5GHz band) are very effective. An easy, and strong, recommendation from me. I've been visiting JB for over 15 years, lived in JB for over a year before Covid-19 and have been super critical of JB hotels (price, quality, service, cleanliness and security / safety concerns) over the years. Swing & Pillows @Johor Bahru is a successful transformation of an old property. Well done 👏🏼 💕.

Room was ok but a little bit tight. bed was comfy. hangers, toilet papers, complimentary drinks and cups were provided. there’s a stool, and apparently the tv have to connect both plugs to watch, which gave no room for us to charge our devices if needed because that’s the only plug point available. toilet was too spacious and got 2 bigger mirrors, at the back of the door and near the sink. towels, shampoo and body wash are provided. there’s an iron with an iron board at the ground floor, you can request at the front desk for them to bring them up.

My second stay here at Lavender Inn Nusa Bestari. Staff is friendly, parking is easy although I did not get to enjoy their 2 free parking lot. Had a similar type room, single room with bathroom, bed and pillow are comfortable, shower pressure is good. Amenities include drinking water, instant coffee, kettle, and dental kit.

I’ve stayed here many times but getting more and more disappointed with this hotel. It’s getting old and in need of renovations. A light in my room couldn’t be switched off at Night and it affected my sleep. The technician came to repair but the problem was not solved.

Small room but for me is quite clean. No traffic noise so I like that. No cockroaches or any unpleasant smell in the room. The front desk staff is also friendly - a chinese guy and lady. They smiled upon seeing me. Aircond is great - very cold. Wifi also great connection. I watched YouTube in the room without any lagging. Heater also works well - water pressure is good. They provide shampoo, body wash, mineral water, toothbrush and toothpaste. There's an iron outside. Same floor. Also a dining table which is quite nice. For Muslims, there's a qiblat sticker inside the room which made it easy for me. That's all. I think good enough for the price I paid.

The staff were very helpful and responded to queries promptly. Location is perfect, couple of minutes drive to legoland and walking distance to puteri harbour.

The room was not too bad for the price. The location is great, just 2 minutes walk from the bus terminal. But, the cleanliness could be improved as the room was dusty, especially the curtains.

Actually that time i was really frustrated on my stay last time at first room my aircond have a problem the maintenance coming so many times to repair my room acond after that they ask me to change the room on the new room the water suddenly stop while my daughter was showering.. the electricity also like suddenly black out was sudden.. luckily the maintenance man really helpful and helped to repair all the problems in the room so fast even needed to coming to my room many times.. I hope this things will not happen again in future durig my stay in sri malaysia..
