What a charming little apartment hotel! It was well-maintained and had all the essentials we needed.
We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment, which featured two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a cozy living room. The kids absolutely loved it, especially the smart TV, which kept them entertained all day.
Breakfast offered a nice selection of Arabic dishes, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of cafeterias. We’d definitely book this place again on our next visit!

The room was really clean and extremely comfortable, and definitely helped given that we had a long layover.
However, the service is really bad. We had to wait in a queue for about an hour just to get to the reception desk. Apparently it’s always like that so I don’t really understand the value of making reservations ahead of time. They definitely are understaffed. If they can’t hire anyone else then the least they could do is issue out tickets and have enough seating to accommodate guests so that people aren’t frustrated.
Amenities are decent but there’s no dental kit or even a bin in the bathroom.
There are not many shops around the building, but I think more will be added in the future.
The electricity in the room is shut off every day during the day, which bothers me.
We stayed at El Ebaa for one night before moving to a place closer to Masjidil Haram. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and offered a reasonable price. If you don’t mind a bit of extra walking, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
This hotel is pretty close to the haram gate 86 to 89. So the location is convenient.
Hotel rooms are tiny and there is hardly a place to even stand up properly ( if like us you go into a triple single bedroom)
Service is probably okay for 2 star hotel that it is.
Make sure you carry your own USB phone charging plug because the ones in the hotel rooms do not work or if your lucky to to have a USB port then it is extremely slow and is useless.
This hotel is probably okay for a group of young male/females or a single person but not for families with children.
Even the television sets do not work in the bedrooms.
Price is probably okay if you book in advance but not worth it if you just walk in to a hotel and pay the full price.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Elaf Ajyad Hotel Makkah, and overall, it was an average experience. Here’s a breakdown:
✅ Pros:
• Location: Situated fairly close to the Haram, but the steep uphill walk can be challenging, especially for elderly guests.
• 24-hour Front Desk: Staff is available around the clock, which is convenient for late check-ins.
• Room Size: The room was spacious enough for a comfortable stay.
Final Verdict:
Elaf Ajyad Hotel is a budget-friendly option for those looking to stay close to the Haram without paying premium prices. However, the uphill location and outdated facilities may not be ideal for everyone. If you’re looking for basic accommodation and don’t mind the walk, this could work. Otherwise, consider alternatives with better accessibility. Overall I loved our stay in this hotel.
GGuest UserThe staff at this hotel Faris and Noura were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. I also appreciated the location which is Azizia on the edge of the main road, to go to the haram mosque is very easy there is a bus at the entrance of the hotel which is free it takes you directly to the haram mosque, and another bus which is Makkah bus which costs you 4 SAR for each, for taxis it varies between 5 -10 - 15 SAR I give 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to this hotel and the staff Faris and Noura
Aazeez adelaniIt's a very neat hotel. Very close to Haram, and there is free bus service to and fro Haram. It is easier to connect and save you money on transport while performing your Hajj or Umrah.
The services I received are topnotch and very accommodating and understanding members of staff.
The hotel is a very good place to lodge for solo or group travellers in Mecca
GGuest UserHotel is about 250-300m to Masjidil Haram. Price is reasonable. Plenty of eateries nearby. Has 4 lifts and all working properly. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and toilet. Recommended place to stay during your umrah trip.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very good and worth staying. This is a brand new hotel, the room is very clean and the service is very warm and friendly. I will stay next time I have the opportunity.
