I stayed at Zoom Hotel during a long layover in Istanbul, and it was exactly what I needed — clean, comfortable, and super convenient.
The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were very kind and welcoming, even helping me arrange transport and giving helpful tips for making the most of my short time in the city.
The room was spotless and modern, with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom — ideal for getting some proper rest between flights.

We had a private room with our family. The room was spacious and clean. The location is truly perfect. The breakfast is good. We recommend this hostel.

Stayed for 3 night. Warmly greeted by Mehmet, the owner of the place. Booked 2 rooms and being upgrade to bigger room. Its a great hotel. Walking distance to all major attraction such as Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand bazaar. Surrounded by lots of restaurant. Hotel room was spacious and the things that excites me was the buffet breakfast. Eventhough the menu was almost the same everyday, but it has plenty of option. The variety makes my tummy happy 😆. Should I recommend this hotel to others? Definitely YES!

A small, very cozy hotel. It is located 7 minutes from the metro station. Bosphorus, Topkapi, Sofia, Blue, Grand Bazaar, all within walking distance. There is a huge selection of cafes nearby, for every taste and budget. The room is small, but very cozy, very clean, has everything you need (slippers, a set of towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, pieces of soap, liquid soap, hair dryer, tissue paper), 2 small bottles of water every day, coffee, tea, sugar. Snow-white bed linen and towels. A very comfortable and large bed, it is a pleasure to sleep on it. Well-chosen lighting creates additional comfort. Everything is new. The air conditioner works for heat, in cold weather. There is always hot water, with excellent pressure. Very convenient and multifunctional shower. Cleaning every day! There is an elevator. I felt cozy, comfortable and warm! I would like to express my gratitude to the receptionist Aslan for the warm welcome and kind, attentive service.
room is quiet clean
but the service is not good as no one takes the luggage for us
and the breakfast is standard ones
I don’t know it’s extra charge for the coffee as the waiter in canteen can’t speak in English.

When you arrive in Istanbul and Turkey, you’re immediately faced with the local SIM card policy, where all operators only sell 3-month tourist SIMs at a price almost 10 times higher than what local residents pay. This gives you an early sign that you might end up spending more on this trip than expected! In the markets, you’ll also notice that some of the prices you see aren’t always realistic or consistent.
Now let’s talk specifically about hotels. Prices are generally high, and unfortunately, most affordable options look nothing like their promotional pictures once you arrive. But let me share something very important about my experience at this hotel.
I booked a double room for 1,100 TL per night in a very safe and central neighborhood of Istanbul. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. To my surprise, the room looked exactly like the photos — clean, well-organized, with lively colors and all the essential amenities. The bathroom was spotless and very functional.
I highly recommend not wasting your money on overpriced hotels. I found this one with a very reasonable price and truly excellent conditions. An absolute gem!
This is a very, very good hotel! Caring and friendly staff, always with a smile, always offer coffee or tea, ask how you are doing, ask if you need help! The location is better than you can imagine! All the sights are nearby, the tram stop is nearby, the beautiful Mosque is nearby, the Grand Bazaar is nearby, a quiet calm street, hearing the calls to prayer in the morning is a special kind of pleasure 🥰 even considering that the windows overlooked a public place and a tram stop, I slept very soundly and nothing bothered me ♥️ if I could give 10, I would) but what a view from the windows, I am attaching a photo) I will definitely come back to them again)

GGuest UserI stayed here in a hurry and checked in at 1pm. There are lockers and locks, a bathroom and a kitchen. Remember to bring your own toiletries.
Ppatri67Hotel close to everything, very good location, very good treatment from the staff. The bad thing is that you can't sleep well because the hotel is surrounded by discos and pubs, there is a lot of noise until early in the morning.
GGuest UserGreat budget hotel near Istiklal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Friendly hosts, always ready to help. There is free coffee and tea plus a kitchen where you can cook and cook utensils. I stayed here not the first time and will come again. For the price, this is the best option in the area. Wi-Fi works fast - you can work safely. The bathroom only has soap. From the minuses to someone, sometimes they sit on the street near the guest house like ***************, but they don't bother anyone.
GGuest UserI like the clerks in it very much. Everyone is very kind and left me good memories. Another sister took two films for me. I like her very much, but she was not at work when I checked out in the morning, but I hope we can meet her next time. The coffee is also very delicious! I love the clerks, cats and everything here!

GGuest UserIdeal hotel! The location is great, there are cafes and restaurants nearby for every taste and budget, attractions and transport are 5-10 minutes away on foot. The hotel has warm staff, they speak English very well. The room has everything you need, cleaning every day, perfectly clean bed linen and towels. The bed is big and comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality, we were satisfied.

GGuest UserPros:
Great location. 65 steps from the entrance to Gülhane Park. The main attractions of the old city are within walking distance. The metro is also nearby (5-7 minutes), the tram stop is 100 meters away. The color of a noisy eastern street. The charming ringing of tram bells)
The staff is polite.
The air conditioning is modern and almost silent.
Daily cleaning. New towels and all that.
Cons:
The toilet valve is faulty and the water constantly flows and makes noise. Upon check-in, the lights went out for a few minutes in the hotel. We walked up to the 4th floor.
Passing trams make the whole building vibrate. The elevator is only for one person, and the stairs are very steep.
It is worth taking rooms only with Street view.
The breakfasts are good, but the coffee is only instant.
I had dinner in different street cafes. The best was the small restaurant opposite - Neda. I didn't like the others.
I stayed with my family for 3 nights to see the old city.
I recommend visiting, only because of the location. The price is determined only by this.
Then I moved to Hilton. For the same money. But real five stars.
