It is situated within the world class, prestigious Kapalua Resort on Maui’s northwest shore.Ridge 711-13 is an exceptionally private villa located at the top of a quiet cul de sac in a tropical park like setting with unobstructed ocean/Honolua Bay/sunrise views from every room. The villa is a ground floor level floor plan with no stairs & is easy to access from the covered attached carport to the front door. We do not have AC, we have decorator fans in each room and rely on the lovely (we believe in green) natural Maui trade winds for our cooling. This charming retreat features an enormous wrap around lanai (Hawaiian for “patio”) large enough for a teak dining table for 6, comfy seating perfect for enjoying the soft Maui trade winds, sunrise over Honolua Bay & the green West Maui Mountains. This tropical paradise villa is professionally decorated using colors from the outside – blues of the ocean, gray, turquoise, shades of brown, with splashes of reds, oranges. Furnishings are elegant and reflect the sophistication of today’s experienced travelers while remaining comfortable, homey & warm – a space perfect for family vacations, honeymooners, or guests of all ages. Kapalua Ridge 711-13 has two spacious bedrooms with a “secret” study tucked into the Master Bedroom suite with brand new California King, two twins beds in the second bedroom which may be made into a King. The Master Bedroom has a large private lanai. The living room has a new queen sofa sleeper. Three fabulous designed baths feature custom walk in showers & a large soaking tub in the Master. The well stocked Chef’s Kitchen is surrounded by granite counter tops, glass tile backsplash, & stainless steel appliances. There is a new washer/dryer within the villa for guests’ convenience. An over sized flat screen TV in the living room entertainment center with one each in the bedrooms rounds out the homey amenities of this delightful villa.The Ridge at Kapalua sits in the heart of the resort on 21 acres. There are two heated pools with gas grills, dining tables, showers, soda machine & herb garden for our guests use. The Ridge is known for its well maintained & lush tropical landscaped grounds overflowing with ginger, hibiscus, palms, orchids, plumeria, Shower & banana trees. *The time reserved by you is held special for your family vacation. Because most guests book well in advance cancellation policies are strict to Hawaii. We highly recommend Travel Insurance which is very affordable. It protects both guests and owners. You can not miss the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park! If you can swing it, stay a night down at the Volcano House lodge, overlooking the crater! The place is so awesome that you really cannot cover it in a day if you want to go for hikes in the park. On the way home you will want to stop at the waterfalls along the way. Or South Point. Or the black sand beaches. The views are spectacular the whole way! Kolea is located between the Marriott Waikoloa Beach Hotel and the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel, and near the Kings Shops, and newly opened Queens Shops. Fine dining, and shopping abounds. Free entertainment and family activities, such as ukulele contests and hula lessons, are an almost daily feature at the Kings shops: be sure to pick up a calendar upon arrival.
