As soon as we entered the hotel, Mr. Volkan welcomed us with a smiling face at the reception. He was very polite and attentive, it really warmed our hearts. :) We can say that the hotel earned points from us as soon as we entered, it has a great location, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the view was wonderful, it was one of the best and most attentive hotels we have stayed in, I definitely recommend it😍

Review of Wanda Vista Hotel. My stay at the Wanda Vista Hotel had its positives, but also quite a few frustrating issues. The hotel itself was nice, and the room was comfortable, but the location wasn’t ideal since it’s right on a highway, making it less convenient for exploring the area. Aside from that, it was okay, but there were several maintenance problems that definitely affected my experience.The biggest issue was that the room had several things broken, and despite bringing it to the staff’s attention, nothing was really fixed except for the door. The shower leaked all over the floor by the sink, which was both annoying and a safety hazard, but no one bothered to fix it. The skirting board was also broken, adding to the feeling that the room wasn’t being properly maintained. On top of that, we had an apartment with a kitchen, but the hotel refused to provide any kitchen accessories unless we were staying for more than 10 days, which seemed like a ridiculous rule. It didn’t make sense to have a kitchen that we couldn’t actually use. After complaining, I eventually got the accessories, but it was frustrating that I even had to go through that process in the first place.Overall, while the hotel had potential, the lack of proper maintenance and the odd policies made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. If they paid more attention to fixing issues and improving customer service, it could be a much better experience.

My stay at The Divan Istanbul left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel markets itself as a five-star establishment, my experience suggested it might be better aligned with four-star standards. The service, which is a critical aspect of any top-tier hotel experience, unfortunately fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, I encountered a passive-aggressive attitude from the reception staff that was off-putting. Instead of the warm welcome one would expect, the receptionists seemed more interested in talking over guests than engaging with them. This tone created an uncomfortable atmosphere that lingered throughout my stay. Additionally, the staff's grasp of English varied significantly, leading to frequent misunderstandings when addressing simple requests. This lack of clear communication is not what one hopes for at a hotel that purports to offer five-star service. These service issues overshadowed any of the hotel’s potential strengths. A true five-star experience is defined by top-notch service that complements the hotel's physical attributes, and in this case, it was lacking. While the hotel may offer nice amenities and a polished appearance, without exceptional service to match, it cannot truly claim to be a five-star venue. In conclusion, while The Divan Istanbul has the framework of a high-end hotel, its service shortcomings prevent it from fully realizing that potential. For those looking for a reliable four-star experience in Istanbul, it may fit the bill, but if exemplary service is a priority for your stay, it may be wise to consider other options.

Super beautiful hotel. The room is fantastic and the location is without doubt. Hotel service is top of the best and the breakfast is just wonderful. It's a wonderful nice stay.

Very nice hotel with super friendly and helpful staff no matter at the reception, concierge, breakfast and room cleaning. Convenient located within the old town directly opposite a beautiful mosque and within 20 minutes walk to the blue mosque and all the other major sites. We were very happy and will for sure book the Ramada Plaza again next time we stay in Istanbul!

This was the best hotel experience of my life. My fiancée and I came here for celebrate our engagement and we have been absolutely impressed by the top-notch quality of everything at JW Marriott. I want to mention in particular the kindness and professionalism of every single staff member. You guys are amazing, thank you for making these days memorable!

I love loved staying here. The level of service was exquisite. Such attention and care by the entire staff. it was really lovely. Bed was so comfortable i passed out both evenings.

The Spa and Wellness Center was very clean and enjoyable, offering a great variety of relaxing amenities and an excellent gym. Unfortunately, the room was not prepared properly. The duvet cover was not fitted correctly over the blanket, and some bathroom essentials like toothpaste and toothbrushes were missing. It felt as though the room had been cleaned and prepared in a rush. Additionally, the furnishings and room installations were outdated and lacked modern features. Another issue was the staff’s lack of commitment to providing good service. Many employees did not use English in a professional manner. However, I do not believe the staff was unfriendly; it seemed more like an organizational problem affecting the level of service. Overall, I enjoyed my one-night stay, spending most of the time in the Spa and Wellness Center. The location is also very convenient, with the Hilltown Mall right next to the hotel and easy access to Sabiha Gökçen Airport via Metro/Taxi. In my opinion, the price of the stay did not match the expected quality.
