I stayed at Novotel Makkah and overall everything was excellent. The only downside is the distance from Masjidil Haram, but the hotel provides a shuttle bus service. However, it’s important to note that the bus should always be on standby at least 30 minutes before prayer time and depart no later than 20 minutes before the adhan.

We had a great experience with the hotel staff, the hotel itself was very modern and felt more like a 5 star hotel. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to travel to Jeddah. Thank you staff.
The location is not far from the King's Fountain, which is a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast is good and the gym is great, which is very good for similar hotels. The wifi signal in some rooms is not very good.
The room is large, with floor-to-ceiling windows that can see the temple, swimming pool, and gym. The clerk is very enthusiastic and helps with taxis, invoices, and travel suggestions. All in all, it is a very good hotel. If I have the chance to go there next time, I will choose it again
The first night the sink pipe fell out of the wall and I became a plumber for the hotel. There was no hot water on the second night and no hot water in the morning. Nice environment, average facilities.
Hotel was really nice with all 5 star amenities. Room was large and clean. Washroom was big and super clean. Only problem was it's location. Very far from Haram. Shuttle service during last ashra of ramadan was very tricky with no check n balance from Hotel management. Taxi's were super expensive charging 50-80 riyals one way to and from Haram. However you can also take # 10 Makkah bus to Haram which charges only 4 riyals. The bus stop is right next to Hotel and drops at Jabal e Kabah station. Overall Hotel was value for money.
Positives:
- maybe new? The inside looks good!
- very welcoming
- easy access
- easy parking
- quite nice view from window or back in the pool area
What could be improved:
- could upgrade the windows so it would be noise free. It’s key to good night sleep.
Wonderful place, I like the atmosphere in there. Helpful staff.all of them.

FFaliqComfortable hotel. Near Masjid Al-Rajhi. Location of the hotel is inside the Haram boundary. A lot of amenities nearby including Danube Supermarket. Shuttle to the Haram is on an hourly basis but sometimes a little bit unreliable.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at elaf kinda and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and impeccable service.
What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. Their professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction were remarkable.
The location was also ideal—conveniently situated near Alharam yet offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle.
Overall, my experience at elaf kinda exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable stay. I can’t wait to return!

GGuest UserI booked executive room & expect a great amenities , the toilet is way too small.I arrived in Makkah early and sent an email two days before my arrival if I Check in little early but the hotel appear to be clueless about my request. The receptionist can speak fluent English
witch is great for Non Arabic speaking guest.
AAnonymous UserStayed at the start of Ramadhan 1446 / start of March when nights are still aircon temp. The hotel was amazing, comfortable, with good service and the nicest Bangladeshi bell boys. It was a 30min straight walk to the Haraam (and shuttle buses that stop you at another bus stop to then take the yellow buses to the Clock tower basement) and within the Haraam boundary so terawih prayers were almost up to the hotel 🩷 Clean with a good toilet & toiletries.

MMOHAMMADGood Hotel but when you want to go to Haram then 2 hours early you need to take the shuttle bus because you need a transfer bus then walk to reach Haram
Nearly 1 hour of any prayer close the gate to enter Haram inside the hall
When you want to go back to the hotel from Haram you still need 1 hour
The rooms are good the breakfast is very good the staff is also good
IIwan/IkhwanOne Cheapest international chain hotel in Jeddah.. small no view room, bit Humid carpet. Water at bathroom but yellow. Old furnished, with firm bed matras.
Breakfast not that bad..but no standby cooker at the egg stay, lazy for service.
They lock the fitness center and the pool. You have to ask them if you want to use it.
