"The front desk staff was very enthusiastic, but on the last day, the hotel helped the car to go to the airport, the taxi driver did not play the watch, and finally went to the destination to charge the fee. Oh... it’s better to call it, I hope everyone pays attention."
"Very clean, the beach is very convenient for walking, the sea view is also good, that is, if you drive a large off-road vehicle, the hotel's parking lot can't stop, you have to stop in the public parking lot that is a distance from the hotel, the overall feeling is good."
"The hotel is located right next to the parliament building and has easy access to most of other tourist attractions.
Both services and amenities are above average.
We will consider to stay with Pacific Grand next time visit Victoria."

"LOVED my stay here. A hidden gem in Victoria. It’s in James Bay (just on the cusp of downtown). I had a one bedroom queen suite, with an incredible view of the parliament buildings and downtown. I opened all of the blinds because I loved the view of the city scape at night. My room was spacious, clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The soaker tub was perfect after a long day on the road. The bathroom was huge. Robes and slippers are always a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and there was no noise from other units or from outside. The hotel is tucked away in a residential area. The front desk agent was very friendly upon arrival. Check in was a breeze. Secure underground parking was perfect. 10/10 will stay here again."
"The kitchen is fully equipped, especially suitable for family travel. The location is good, there are many attractions nearby, many historical sites can be reached on foot, and there are many delicious foods nearby. Highly recommended!"
"Invincible sea view, sea view, living room, room and balcony, especially sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset is very freehand. The transportation is very convenient, it is convenient in the city center, and the two-bedroom suite is fully equipped! Opposite the hotel is a lot of choices for restaurants, parking is free, but you need to check the card after you check in to enter the garage. Overall very good physical examination."
"Close to residential areas, very beautiful manor environment. Highly recommended!
Was upgraded to a loft room, although there are plenty of options nearby, but it had a kitchenette which suited my needs.
The staff are very warm and there is Nestle capsule coffee in the room, which is a good choice.
The only downside is that if you have luggage, it's about 10-15 minutes away from the main transfer station."
"This hotel is the most detailed hotel I have stayed in Canada! The location is on the pedestrian street, the decoration is exquisite, the bath is full of L’Occitane, and there are two pairs of slippers! Loved, coffee is also a very good brand. Next time I go to Victoria, I will never look at any other hotels. The five-star praise is definitely worthy of it."
"The location of the hotel is very convenient, there are many bus routes at the bus stop. The area around the hotel is very easy to go shopping. It is two streets away from Government Street, and the places where tourists usually go shopping are nearby. In addition, I arrived at the hotel at about 12:00 that day and planned to put down my luggage first, but was arranged to check in directly. Thank you very much! This time, 5 adults stayed in a double room with a sofa bed, and there is enough space."
"There was a bus stop to downtown right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. There are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby."

NNicoleI always love my stays at chateau Victoria. They are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, and they will always go above and beyond for you. I have had no problems getting late check outs. The service is always on point.

GGuest UserThis is such a fun hotel! It’s near some busy roads, a mall, and a bunch of restaurants and such, which I guess is nice, but it’s pretty noisy and you’re not going to get a great view from your room or anything.
BUT! Where to start? The rooms are clean. My kids and I loved the comic book, stickers, yo-yo, and rotary phone in our room. The hot tub is a little small, but guess what? You can soak in it and keep an eye on your kiddos as they enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and water slide!
Inside the lobby, you can find myriad board games, ping pong, “bowling,” Wii, and even old school typewriters in which you can pluck out that novel you’ve been keeping in the back of your head. The lobby Coffee is better than any in-room coffee another hotel might offer.
And speaking of the lobby, the staff here is 110%! I got what I thought was an automated text asking how my state was so far. I said “meh” because we had just checked in and I wasn’t impressed with the area. I got a response from a real person right away! She provided answers to my questions and concerns and even delivered earplugs and silverware and cups to my room later when I needed them! When I was teaching my kiddo how to use a typewriter, the front desk staff didn’t hover over us or anything, just let us do our thing.
Last, the little restaurant (open for breakfast and lunch) has a killer breakfast menu and such friendly staff!
AAnonymous UserThank you for the wonderful time!
I was able to sleep soundly thanks to the very pleasant service and the clean room! Another good memory for my family has been added! Thanks✨
TTrish Hope BinghamThis was a nightmarish trip, 1st I had asked for a room on the highest floor possible, with a view of the Harbour, I am a photographer and made the trip to Victoria to get some great photos of the inner Harbour. I got a room on tenth floor overlooking the parking lot and side street. The windows were so dirty it was hard to see anything, in my eyes I was ripped off, I am not going to to stay at any Merriott hotels, at the time of my booking it said they had a buffet breakfast and when I arrived they told me there is no buffet breakfast just a restaurant on site, parking was said to be free self parking. I was charged $29.40 / night to self park my truck.

VVelasco-BuurmanThis hotel was perfect for my husband and I. Everywhere was walkable, to the park, Fisherman’s Wharf, to the Parliament and downtown. We enjoyed the quietness of the neighbourhood and the victorian houses. We will definitely consider staying here again!

GGuest UserThe appearance and environment are poor, but the room has been renovated and is large and clean, with free parking and breakfast included. When placing the order, I saw that the breakfast was buffet style, but when I checked in, the restaurant was under renovation and it was changed to room service. It was just two or three slices of toast, a boiled egg, a small cup of coffee and tea. It was a very poor breakfast! The upside is that the room is big and clean and the bathroom is very nicely decorated! If you are traveling with a family, it is not recommended to stay here!
GGuest UserAvid traveller and honest review. Booked 3 days and got an older room with a plug in oil heater and fan because baseboard not renovated. Crowded plug in and power bar behind a dusty tv to run it all. But budget so rather expected a few things. Had to stay one more day so booked online , got a better room but upon arriving found a young women passed out briefly with a “pipe” in her hand right at the entrance and because children where on premise I reported as I booked in and it seemed blown off. A man then lead said girl in who was obviously “working” but also in no shape to give consent and I said to the clerk exactly that as well that she had blood down the back of her legs, who seemed to blow it off. I am disturbed with the fact that the young woman was easily going to be victimized. So , if you are ok with that, and no guarantee of your room quality then this is the place . Horrible accommodation, no ,I’ve seen worse, and second room was certain up to par, but the neighbourhood may also allow for other types of “stays” it seems because it was absolutely blatant. But hey, it was cheap!
GGuest UserThe service staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. But there are a lot of homeless people nearby, which is disturbing. The room has no ventilation, seems to have not been cleaned, and the facilities are also very poor. Since I booked the hotel at the last minute and the price was not high, I accepted it. The hotel has two locks, but the odd tenant is a little unsettling. Thank you very much to the receptionist for changing me to a more suitable room! If I were given a choice again, I would not choose this hotel. I still appreciate every service member's help. Breakfast is a simple buffet with hard-boiled eggs, toast and juice. Dinner was simple rice with sauce on top. There are many supermarkets nearby. You can choose to go shopping on your own, but be sure to avoid the hordes of homeless people.

VViolaLinSince I went there during the hot season of summer, I didn’t notice that the website didn’t state that the hotel does not have in-room cooling air conditioning. There was a small fan in room 204, and the window could not be turned on for ventilation. I stayed for two nights. When I picked up the room, the hotel staff told me that the hotel had no vacancies and no room could be changed. Even contacting trip.com customer service could not solve the problem of changing hotels. I couldn't have a good rest on the first night. The lady on duty at night was empathetic and told me that the hotel was not fully booked. The hotel staff did not change the room until the next day when the hotel staff notified the manager. There was no western sun and ventilation. The hotel staff highly recommended 👍🏼 which made my trip to Victoria perfect. In summer, hotels without air conditioning are not recommended, and it is also recommended that websites state that there is no air conditioning.

AAnonymous UserLOVE this hotel and wish to come back next time! Very clean, comfortable and spacious. There’s even a microwave in the room. Best location in Victoria downtown. Have a starbucks right at the lobby and a 7-11 around the corner.
