Bon Hotel Boutique Garki 2

PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL. We stayed here for a week before attending a wedding and observed utter incompetence. There were too many mistakes to list, so these are just a few: Our shower did not drain, we asked the staff to unblock it and they never did (therefore we stood in dirty shower water every time we showered). There was no hot water in the shower and hardly any water pressure from the shower head, making the experience even more unpleasant. We requested an estimate of our total bill days prior, so we could give them the exact amount of cash. We ended up requesting this total at least 5 times over the next few days, before they could calculate it. When we received the handwritten bill (image provided), the amount was completely incorrect (40k extra listed), which the staff and owner couldn’t justify. Room service was daily, however, we would return to find several things missing. For example, they hadn’t given us hand soap, hand towels or put a top sheet on the bed. We then overheard from another guest that the hotel ran out of towels??? For anyone with mobility issues and who requires an accessible and inclusive environment , unfortunately the cramped 4 person lift does not go to the rooftop (where complimentary breakfast for only 1 guest is located). The stairs to the roof are completely uneven and a safety hazard to say the least. Unlike most hotels, the coffee sachets left in your room each day are not complimentary and will be charged to your room. The only option is to have these, as the hotel does not have a proper coffee machine. The only highlights here are the pool (which was drained when we arrived as it isn’t maintained) and good service from the staff (even though they are not trained in hospitality at all). I must emphasise that the staff wished us goodnight every night and greeted us every morning. This means that they work 24 hours a day, most likely every day as they were also around on weekends. I’m not sure how anyone with a good conscience can direct their staff to work under such conditions. Suffice it to say I’m only giving this a one star review as there is no option to give half a star.
