Adler Spa Resort Sicilia

We had been to this area twelve years ago and the newly opened (at that time) Verdura resort and decided to come back since there was the new Adler and we were looking to a place with indoor pools because we have a child. The place is literally in the middle of nowhere BUT in a beautiful stretch of pristine nature. The resort is designed to be 100% green since it is located in a reserve protected by the WWf. It is beautiful! The setting is magnificent, you get the view on the sea more or less everywhere. We went in February and it was cold. The indoor pool and the heated pools were a very nice treat. All the facilities are brand new. Since everything is “open” you feel the link with nature everywhere. The only concern is that we should see how the place will be in ten years as three years after the opening you can already see the effects of wear in many little things. Also, since many things are open air, this is not so comfortable in winter (like crossing cold corridors or open spaces to go everywhere). Nevertheless, the room was large and modern with excellent design. Food was delicious and very generous…we actually gained 3 kgs in 4 days! Last but not least, the staff is incredible. Clearly the best we have ever found and definitely the true highlight of the resort: they are all very proud of the place, all locals, hard working, very service minded in an authentic way; they really are the image of the generous soul of Sicily. We cannot name all of them as they were all wow, from the receptionists to the maids, to the pool guys, the barmen, the valets, the restaurant crew…but we can remember Deborah and Gianvito at the restaurant. There are many nice hotels, many nice resorts around the world and even on the island. But the people working at the Adler make it really unique!

A very placid 5 star resort, recently built with a far east touch and adeptly tucked into a terracced landscape. Unobtrusive, attentive and excellent service, very friendly too, all facilities are state of the art and very well kept, housekeeping impeccable too. In a nutshell - two thumbs up to the staff. breakfast buffet may profit from improvement in terms of variety and maybe offer the coolies and co from the dinner - but that‘s a matter of taste. The dinner menu is modern, light and very, very good. The prices on site are also reasobable.

We are regular customer of the Ortisei resort and wanted to try the new Sicilian one and have not been disappointed. Quality of service is top notch with a nice Sicilian warmth in terms of care and attention to details. One of our boys has severe food allergy and I can’t stress enough how much everyone cared and knew already as soon as we sat down at the restaurant. A special mention to Debora for her kindness and service. Food superlative. Rooms elegant and very spacious Beach is connected via golf cart, but to be honest the pools are so beautiful that you hardly move from there. Recommend to visit Valle dei Templi in Agrigento which is 30min away. A great experience, as usual at Adler.

It’s newest hotel of the small and luxury chain ADLER. Wonderful location at the top of an hill in Sicily, near Agrigento. Structure is eco friendly: almost all buildings are made by wood. Landscape is beautiful, room too: are large with a small “garden”. SPA is fantastic, you have big swimming pool, hidromassage in front the sea, many different saunas and relax rooms. Seaside is quite distance but there is an efficient service to reach it by minicar. You’ve breakfast and supper included: food is high quality. Hotel organize trip to visit the beautiful Sicily. Very expensive but …

I recently had the most enchanting stay at this magical seaside hotel. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and having access to a stunning private beach made it a true paradise. The hotel staff were incredibly hospitable and made our stay memorable. The rooms were not only very comfortable but also exuded a modern charm. The sunsets were spectacular! The pool and spa areas are magnificent and very relaxing. It was a magical experience that I'll cherish forever! I will definitely be returning.
