We did not stay here, but we went on the Bean-to-Cup Coffee tour, had lunch at the bistro and coffee at the coffee shop. The tour takes you through the coffee plantation, where the guide explains how the coffee grows, how they ensure quality, control pests, etc. Then you are guided to their shop, where they talk about different roasts and processes for getting the beans from green to drinkable, including roasting some beans and then making french press coffee while doing so. Our guide was Johanne, who was excellent -- very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and we learned a lot, had a lot of fun and delicious coffee! We had lunch at the bistro, which was generally good -- African cuisine, western cuisine and Indian are all available.
