"The check-in process became a bit unpleasant as their stated policies did not match what was written in our trip.com booking confirmation. This included check-in time and number of guests for the room. We included our children and even had their ages listed in the confirmation. Upon check-in we were told that it was only a room for two adults. We were then instructed to pay extra for one child. Policies should be conveyed clearly when booking so we can know what to expect.
Otherwise, the room had a beautiful view and the kids enjoyed the large pool. The breakfast buffet had a great selection."
"Every day when I return to the room, it is carefully decorated and my clothes are carefully organized. The Nile River outside at dusk is the most beautiful scenery. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we were very satisfied. The only drawback was that there were not many meal options, probably because of Ramadan. I don't understand why lunch and dinner cost the same but the amount of fries is three times the amount. The service staff was very nice and attentive. They knew it was my birthday and sent me a surprise, which was very unexpected to me. The birthday cake was the most delicious dessert I have ever had in Egypt. 💕"
"This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay."

"Except for the unstable hot water, hot and cold, and very few breakfast varieties, everything else is nice and the scenery is unparalleled. The food in the hotel's restaurant is good. You can only pay in US dollars. There is Nubian musical instruments playing in the evening. There is no wine for sale in the hotel. Passengers who drink alcohol need to buy it outside"
"The hotel is on the hill, the environment is very beautiful, there is a small pool, the restaurant and the big pool are under the mountain. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Nile in the room, which is really beautiful. The waiters are hospitable and attentive. They have unfinished snacks and fruits every day. Knowing that we have no time to eat breakfast, we specially prepared two large bags of breakfast for us to eat on the road. It was so intimate. The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were very new, the waiter would fold a small snake for us every day, stayed for three days, it was different, thank you very much! I like this hotel very much."
"The design of the room is very beautiful, the design of the hotel is also very beautiful, but the breakfast is very simple (coarse grain pancakes every day), it is cold when I wake up at 8 o'clock in the morning, there are few varieties, and the layout is also rather random. No one cleaned the room on the second night, and no mineral water was provided. Flies came into the room at night when I lived on the first floor, and I was asked to check out at 11 o'clock in the morning. The transportation recommended by the hotel to Philae Temple and the tour to Elephant Island were all charged higher than the market price."
"The Room is very impressive for the price, the host is very friendly and helpful, very recommended if you have more than 3 person looking for a stay in Aswan"
"What you see is what you get, very cute place. The whole village is super cute in dopamine style! Breakfast is delicious, you can eat on the balcony and the scenery is particularly good, directly see the Nile! The sister of the homestay also took me to touch the little crocodile for free! Super experience! This small village is especially suitable for hanging out and relaxing for a leisurely day!"
"There aren't many hotels in this remote place like Aswan, so don't ask too much. Those who have been to Egypt know the situation of hotels, so there's no need to say more. This hotel doesn't provide water, so you may need to prepare it in advance. The balcony can see the Nile River, with a road in the middle. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic. I asked about taking the bus to Abu Simbel. I didn't have time to eat breakfast because I had to catch the bus. In fact, judging from the results, it was edible. It was very fast to take a taxi from the hotel to the bus station, and the bus was also slow and started half an hour late. Going there early was mainly to buy tickets in advance to avoid the tickets being sold out due to the large crowds, although it was unlikely."

GGuest UserMany celebrities have stayed at this hotel, where I enjoyed the view worth seeing from anywhere while staying in a fabulous room. Especially the view of the Nile from the rooms is breathtakingly beautiful.
I can't help feeling how much effort goes into maintaining the hotel's facilities, including the garden. Moreover, as an attention to detail, towels in the room are embroidered with the hotel logo, and the cotton package containing the hair dryer is also embroidered with ”Wonderful hair begins with a little wind” . I would like to express my respect to all the people who have continued to put such attention to detail into their work!
I would highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to visiting again in the near future!
タタビ好きA hotel on Elephantine Island.
You can get there by boat from the city center for 10 Egyptian pounds.
There was no sign with the hotel name on it, so we walked around the island three times before finally arriving. It was a very clean hotel, and check-in was smooth.
However, the hotel was closed so we couldn't check in at 12 o'clock and had to kill time at the restaurant next door, but it was a restaurant with a nice view so it was fine.
GGuest UserFor an ordinary B&B, the room furnishings are very average and the hygiene is decent. One of the reasons why it is worth booking is that the balcony of the room has a good view of the Nile River. Secondly, the service of all the staff at the B&B is very good.
HHiromuI was surprised that there are such kind people.
All the staff at this hotel are kind.
To be honest, I was very sad because I caught a bad taxi on the way to the hotel.
However, the hotel staff saw me and encouraged me, and provided the best service.
They told me a lot about Nubian Village, which made me very happy. It's a shame that I didn't take many photos of the hotel.
I will never forget this hotel.
WWoaizanjiaxiangPros: A newly renovated small hotel; the rooms are large and new; the breakfast is quite rich; the view is very good, and the Nile River is not far from the hotel;
Cons: It is located on the dirt slope on the east bank of the Nile River, surrounded by farmhouses. It is connected to the main road by several small dirt roads. If you drive there by yourself, like us, it is difficult to find, and Google Maps will make it difficult for you to find it. We searched for a long time and couldn't find it. Finally, we asked a waiter from a hotel called Sunset to take us there in our car. When we got there, we found out that it was not far from the Sunset Hotel.
GGuest UserPerfect stay... I enjoyed the location for the free transportation from or to the island... the port is in a place near to everywhere... the restaurant staff and housekeeping was very freinly in addition to the guest relation Christine ...
but the reception staff was very rude and unfreindly and non cooperative... But Christine always recovering the obstacles...
The breakfast was ok
the room service food was good i have ordered club sandwich, salad and fetuchini it was ok
Thank you really for all the staff except the reception
JJuanxincaibutaijuanThe scenery is quite good. The service attitude is quite average. I went to the front desk and asked if I could pay for the room in Egyptian pounds. My attitude was extremely harsh. I didn't want to move to the hotel on the second night, so I inquired about extending my stay. The front desk asked me to go back to the room and call me. In the end, I didn't receive a call, so I checked out directly. The rooms in this hotel are quite large, and the facilities are relatively old. It feels like they are chosen by locals. In addition, you must choose the number of people according to the actual number. I accidentally selected one person, and ended up paying a price difference of dozens of dollars.
AAnonymous UserThe price of a four-star hotel is not cheap in Aswan, but the location is OK. The Nile River is less than 1 km away, so it is convenient for eating and traveling. It is less than 500 meters away from the Old Falls Hotel. It is just a two-step walk away. It is convenient to visit. The outdoor scenery is OK. But it is definitely not as good as the Old Falls.
The Nubian Museum is right outside the door, and there are many Nubian women selling small items at stalls next to it, with very favorable prices. Be careful of the coachman, who will steal things by taking advantage of the children! The breakfast variety is obviously worse than that of the Cairo Hotel, but it is still acceptable!
GGuest UserAmazing time ,basic rooms ,but clean beds towels. Hot shower and the best view but 100% of the credit for our amazing time goes, to helma the manager and his staff especially khalid who was there for everything we needed , Helmy went above and beyond driving us to the sights for less than.a taxi , but the most amazing was. The Nile under our Balcony full of. Feluka boats to take you to ancient temples and delicious waterside cafes and historic islands this hotel might look nothing.but if you want the true Nubian experience of aswanth8s 8s the place for you ,basic breakfast of bread honey eggs and cheese with tomatoes for the price amazing ,, Linda and ivy uk x
GGuest UserThe room I booked has a view of the Nile River. The location is also better. The room is big enough. The shower head leaks a little. Everything else is fine. However, I recommend you to book on-site at the hotel front desk. The price will be much cheaper than booking online. Based on my order For example, it will be 1/3 cheaper.
The average price for hotels in Aswan is SAR 441 on weekdays, and SAR 441 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
