First of all: we think it is a great pity that you did not seek a direct conversation with us during a 3-day stay. Everything, but really everything you mention here was communicated several times in a very transparent and, above all, timely manner. Your booking was made on April 04th, 2024 via ***********. Directly on this day you received an email from us that begins as follows “in order to avoid misunderstandings or disappointment, we ask you to read the following lines carefully and to follow up if you have any questions.” This is immediately followed by the next paragraph: “- !! Small pools in the “Historical Area” in the “Palais Thermal” closed from Monday, March 4th until October (http://umbau.moknis.com) !!!” and “We have no hotel bar and no hotel restaurant (http://restaurants.moknis.com)” Shortly before the expiry of the free cancellation period, in your case on August 24th, we sent you another email which starts as follows: “As you know, your stay is imminent. In this context, we would like to draw your attention once again to our message via Booking on the day of your reservation. It is very important for us to draw your attention once again to the arrival until 6 p.m. and the renovation work in the “Palais Thermal” thermal spa connected to us (=http://umbau.moknis.com).” Unfortunately, it is inevitable that renovation work will have to be carried out from time to time.
