Flot udsigt Et hotel med fantastisk udsigt udover Ella. Det var nogle fine og eneværelser. Poolområdet var lidt slidt og kunne trænge til lidt opfriskning, men igen udsigten var meget flot der fra. Personalet var meget venlig. Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke noget særligt.

Although the place is old and in some corners not cleaned and not preserved, the personell was excellent. They were very good with their service, and helped in any request we had. They also prepared a surprise for us since we were on a honeymoon. The

SCAM - Don’t book ! I booked 2 rooms a few weeks ago for a stay in April next year. It was offered at a good price USD12. (There are many hotels in this price bracket in Ella I didn’t realise it was a scam). However, I’ve now received a message from the hotel saying their rate is going up to USD260 due to a reburb that will happen in January. The hotel should not advertise at false prices when they know they won’t give that price. The hotel is still advertising at the low price even now. Also they say the refurb will start in January yet are still advertising on all major booking sites knowing that the hotel will be closed. BE WARNED! Don’t book this hotel until after the refurb is finished and they advertising at the correct price. I lost out on a different hotel because of this scam (the other hotel I liked is no longer available for my dates).

Las vistas son inmejorables. Situado en un entorno natural privilegiado, los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de panoramas espectaculares que incluyen impresionantes amaneceres. Estas vistas son una belleza. Está muy cerca de Ella Rock y del puente de los 9 arcos que no puedes dejar de visitar, es impresionante. Las habitaciones del hotel, aunque antiguas, son muy cómodas. Un aspecto para considerar es que el hotel no cuenta con ascensor. Esto puede ser un inconveniente para algunos huéspedes, especialmente para aquellos con movilidad reducida o con mucho equipaje. Sin embargo, el personal está dispuesto a ayudar con el equipaje y a facilitar el acceso a las habitaciones en lo posible. El personal es super amable y la comida muy buena, cenamos a la carta. El desayuno estuvo fenomenal.

We loved it! Really is Heaven's Edge. Room/views fabulous, staff great, meals fabulous, games room/facilities wonderful... just loved it. Highest point in Ella and it works!

The hotel was part of a series that we used during the tour of the island. It was actually the first one we stayed in after our arrival in Sri Lanka. It is located in the mountains, far from Ella. The transfer is done by small buses, because a big bus cannot reach the hotel. It is far from Ella and cannot be hiked. Very good rooms with a great terrace with very good furniture. The view from the terrace was amazing. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were in the hotel (one night) and we couldn't look around. Persona la is extremely friendly and ready to help when needed. We had an issue with a broken lock on one suitcase and they immediately found a tool to fix it. The food is delicious. In the morning we saw squirrels walking around.
