AAnonymous UserAs a solo traveler just passing through to see Tianchi Lake, I wasn't too picky about accommodation. Holiday Inn Express was quite polite; they even called a day ahead to confirm my preferences. I just mentioned I'd like a room with a decent view, and they promised to arrange a mountain view room for me. However, during check-in, they seemed to use someone else's phone number. And upon reaching the room, it turned out to be a 'non-typical' mountain view – literally just a dirt slope right outside the window. I could glance over and see that the rooms next door likely had what I'd consider a proper mountain view. Honestly, that pre-arrival call felt utterly pointless. The room itself was typical Holiday Inn Express business-traveler style. While expected, I genuinely couldn't give it a good review. While Wanda's benefits should have been accessible, my enthusiasm quickly waned when asking the front desk about the shuttle bus – the only answer was consistently 'wait on the main road.' For those willing to do their own research, this place might offer good value for money. But for a lazy weekend warrior like me, a resort like Huamei, which provides all the necessary information upfront, is far more suitable.

GGuest UserOn the first day at Changbaishan Wanda, Park Hyatt Hotel was better than expected. The staff was also very kind and Miss Joy was specially praised. The rights and interests were explained in detail. The breakfast was also very good. Traveling off-peak is a great way to feel relaxed. I look forward to coming again next time.

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing anything we needed promptly. Our butler also responded to messages instantly. The outdoor dining area at Momopark in the evening was very enjoyable. However, the main restaurant was a letdown. The variety was limited, and the breakfast options were identical every morning. Meat choices were scarce, with barely any ham (just one type of bacon), and no yogurt was offered. Freshly cooked scrambled eggs were unavailable, and the coffee machine couldn't even make lattes. Forks weren't provided, with staff explaining it was a ”Chinese buffet.” The few forks in the children's section were always empty. It felt as though the attentive service was completely undermined by the poor dining experience. The mini-train closed too early, and the amenities offered one less slide compared to JinHua.

QQiguaiqiguaizhenqiguaiFacilities: A trip to Changbai Mountain is primarily for Tianchi Lake, and whether you get to see it often comes down to luck. The great thing about Jin Hua is its excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, arcade games, and a mahjong room. This means even on a rainy day, you won't be bored or stuck with nothing to do.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was up to par.
Environment: The hotel is located right next to the ski resort, which in summer transforms into lush green meadows. It's essentially the closest hotel to all the recreational facilities within the park.
Service: Excellent. Our dedicated service staff, Jason Sui, proactively contacted us via phone and WeChat even before our arrival. She promptly responded to all our inquiries regarding park services and updates on Tianchi Lake's opening status. Thanks to her helpful updates and good wishes, we managed to witness the stunning Tianchi Lake, even after it had been closed for three consecutive days.

__WeChat21347****Our room was exceptionally spacious – a true suite. The living room even had a sofa bed, and the bedroom boasted a huge 2.4m bed. With two bathrooms and two balconies, it was incredibly convenient for drying clothes and felt wonderfully spacious and comfortable, especially for a family with children. The room service was flawless, and every single staff member was incredibly patient, attentive, and friendly.
The hotel's environment was truly beautiful; every casual photo we took looked like a picture from a comic book. The shuttle service was also excellent, with two distinct routes. One route covered all the main activity areas like the children's playground, archery and shooting, jungle trekking, go-karts, and the glass skywalk. The other route took us to Meijing Pavilion, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of Changbai Mountain.
The hotel offered a truly extensive range of complimentary activities and amenities. We spent four full days there and barely had to pay for anything extra. From the moment we woke up, our days were packed with fun: mountain biking, trampolining, the children's playground, archery and shooting, paragliding, and even 'Dah Tie Hua' (molten iron fireworks). In the evenings, we relaxed in the hot springs. Although the dining choices weren't super extensive, every restaurant we tried served delicious food.
Finally, a huge thank you to Manager Coco. She was incredibly attentive to every detail and always responsive, immediately helping us book and arrange whatever we needed. Our sincerest gratitude! We definitely plan to come back next year (the evenings were around 17°C, wonderfully cool!).

1-Supporting all requests, various emergencies during the trip, as long as I ask for help (replenishment of items, asking for directions and procedures, finding lost items...), they always respond and help me as soon as possible! Every time, the attitude is very good. Sometimes consumers don't have to have an explanation, but an attitude of being valued and cared for.
2-Every staff member is cheerful, the front desk, cleaning, manager, kitchen... Everyone works very cheerfully, as a guest, I will also be in a good mood.
3-Special thanks to my service manager Ms. Shi Qing, who always helps and has a place for everything. Don't panic when you encounter problems. It's icy and snowy. I believe that the manager can use ”magic” to solve the problem.
【Breakfast】
1-Both Chinese and Western styles are available. The basic breakfast dishes are complete. It's not luxurious, but the key is that the taste is not fussy, and they are all delicious. Breakfast is very important for skiers! Vegetables, meat, porridge, noodles, rice, bread, coffee, fruit... I eat one meal in the morning, which can last the whole day.
2- There are a lot of people during breakfast. It is better to go early than late. Be prepared for long queues. It is common in the tourist season and is completely acceptable.

There are many restaurants in the scenic area. You don't have to worry about eating and drinking. Just let go of your stomach and feel at ease. I recommend the restaurant I have eaten: Log Cabin Korean Cuisine.
Taste: Rich and flavorful! It is very enjoyable to eat flavorful meals after skiing! If you have a light taste, don't complain about the saltiness after eating. Shandong people eat it, which is very suitable! The main thing is that they are all very fragrant. I will come to eat again tomorrow and go down the mountain early to eat pig's trotters and spicy chicken feet!
Environment: The environment is clean and tidy. I can see that the store owner is carefully maintained. It looks reassuring!
Service: The boss sister is not the kind of person who smiles, but speaks slowly and doesn't make a fuss. She will stop you from ordering more dishes. She is a kind and good store owner.
Value for money: In the scenic area, the price is quite suitable, and the portion is moderate and large. It is really too much for 2 people to eat. Just go into this store and have a look, but the food is delicious and affordable, which can keep people. When you go out to eat, it's up to you to decide how much you want to spend. The store also has hard dishes that cost about 100 yuan. You can order them according to your wallet. Many basic dishes in the store are really affordable and delicious, and the prices are friendly and don't turn away customers, which is great!
[Skiing]
1-The ski resort is not big. It is very friendly to beginners, and there are good routes for intermediate players to practice. Advanced players may find the black trails less exciting, but fortunately, the park props are well designed, and the forest trails are great after snow. I skied for two days and still felt unsatisfied. It's small but beautiful.
2-If conditions permit, go to the Costin ski equipment hall to borrow a board. The style is more advanced, the quality is better, and it's newer. The only drawback is that you need to return to Costin to return the board. I didn't study to go to Costin to try my luck and see the board until the third day, but I didn't use a good quality board until the third day. Hate it, I was angry about weight gain for the past two days.
3-Why do you say this? I borrowed 5 women's snowboards in the ski equipment hall of the ski town. The serrations on the bindings of 4 boards were rounded and could not be hooked. There were many dangerous situations where the bindings opened by themselves after skiing (screaming! It's fatal!) I was very angry! Friends, life is the most important! We must stick to product quality and protect life safety.

GGuest UserOverall, it was pretty good. There was a good range of activities, and we saw quite a few small animals in the mountain area. The two-bedroom unit was ideal for our family. Breakfast was also good. My only minor quibbles would be that some of the furniture felt a bit dated. It would have been even better if the TV was a smart TV (like Xiaomi) with access to TV series, and a night light was missing. Otherwise, no major complaints. Although the complimentary perks largely covered what was offered, my 65-year-old parents, despite being quite active, found many activities unsuitable and might have gotten a little bored.

I thought I would be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of blue sky and white clouds when I woke up early in the morning. Sure enough, I didn’t. Disappoints me, the snow scene is so beautiful❤️
The space capsule is new and well-equipped. I was originally worried that it would be too cold at night, but unexpectedly I was woken up by the heat in the morning. The bed is moderately soft and easy to sleep on, and the hot water is also very hot. There is also a starry sky ceiling and a projector to play videos. It is very special to have such enjoyment in this ice and snow place. You can also feel that the boss pays attention to the details of the decoration, which is very good!
The most fun thing is ice fishing. I originally came to this tent for ice fishing. I caught three fish in the morning and 14 fish in the afternoon. The boss’s father was very considerate and helped to light the charcoal fire to string the fish. He was also worried that we wouldn’t be able to catch any fish and taught us how to do it. The secret is that while fishing, you can play with your children in the snow tube. I originally thought of fishing in the morning and skiing in the afternoon, but it turned out that I was very happy and exhausted just fishing all day long.
The lady at the front desk here was also very considerate. She was worried that we would be cold at night and brought us a heater into the room. The arrangement of the amusement activities was also very considerate. She was a little unable to get up the next morning and directly suggested that we stay an hour late and arrange the pick-up. The service will also give us tips on how to consume without stepping on the trap. Today is the Chinese New Year in Northeast China, and the young lady also treated us to the leek and egg dumplings made by her mother☺️It’s so fresh and delicious!
This time I took my husband and children to Changbai Mountain for vacation. I am very happy that I chose to book this space capsule camping area.
