Outstanding hotel with service second to none. Mira on reception was exceptional. She delivered outstanding service with a ready smile. Room was spacious with a chair and a luggage rack bench/seating area. During 4 nights stay, we are asked twice if everything was satisfactory. Staff were extremely friendly and polite.
However, egg station guy was painfully slow, surly and misogynistic. “I will bring your fried egg to your table”. 5 minutes later, he was serving other men (not previously in the queue) and then asked what I wanted. Not impressed as previous guests had complained about him.
Indian dishes were atrocious. Given the huge restaurant, it seemed a waste that they were unable to benefit from a captive audience as there were few restaurants in the surrounding area. We were the only guests in the restaurant on our first night. Other Indian guests agreed with my comments. I gave them numerous suggestions to maximise their potentials. Given management had ignored complaints about the lethargic guy, I think it is unlikely that they may not take onboard my comments.
